From Scratch Restaurant

Walking into the place I did not feel the food would be good. But when the food came out it was good. Not only me all my other family members liked the food they ordered.

The type of restaurant you'd like to find at the end of the road doesn't disappoint! Brought a 16acre farm here in Somerset county 1 year ago when I stumbled upon this watering hole in now I know as God's County! I'll be dining here table for One tomorrow 👍 though

Best breakfast I've had in a long time! Service was excellent, our food came out in good time and was cooked perfect and tasted excellent. My scrapple was great ! And so was my huge pancake. A definite return to sample more of there menu. Reasonable priced as well for the guantity you receive.

Absolutely the best breakfast i have ever had. My husband and I couldnt finish the portions they gave us. We were so use to small portions from other places. But not here! Great staff and food! Would suggest to everyone!

Food was very good! Wait is a little long for the food but it is worth it because our server, Sam, has an excellent personality and is very attentive to make sure we are updated in how long is going to take for our food to come out.

Very nice restaurant, a cozy atmosphere, and service was excellent. The food was great, made from scratch and reasonably priced. Thank you ☺

Really liked this place, we ate here while visiting the the town to see the world's largest rubber duck event. Food was excellent and good size portions. Son and I have basically an omelet stuffed with sausage and cheese as I recall . He had grilled potatoes I had them fried. I don't like grits but ordered as a side so my son could try them. I added a tad of butter and he liked them, I had a spoon and they were good. The wife had scrambled eggs, bacon etc, a standard breakfast. Overall we thought very good and a good amount of food for the money. Coffee was excellent, I can't remember the prices but for the three of us with tip I think 50 total. Only issue was as you walk in there is a Specials of the day grease board.
We didn't see that and ordered off the menu. I saw it after we ordered and really hoped to try the "Farmers Breakfast". We went on a Sunday morning early and no crowd. Tried to go Sat night but a line out the door. Hoped to go on the following Monday morning but after the weekend event I guess they gave the employees the day off and were close.
If we ever get back over to the Crisfield area we will DEFINITELY return. We all thought it was excellent and though food prices are high a good value for the amount of food we received.

My lifelong friends and I always get together at From Scratch at least once a month!! Never had an unsatisfied visit!! All the staff are so awesome!! And the food.....good ole home cooking. Prices are good too!! If you leave there hungry, it's your fault!! 😊

Excellent little mom & pop place. The food was great and they have the BIGGEST pancakes I have ever seen!!!

The best meal I have had!!! The rolls are yeast rolls and are warm, I had the roast beef with gravy, omg what flavor!!! I do not normally write about food but what a pleasure, make it a place to stop of ever near, sorry my pictures are of my left overs but again I normally do not write about my food, so good I had to bring it home.

Outstanding friendly service and the best French fries and crab cake!!!

They know what eggs over medium and crispy bacon is like when prepared correctly. Service was great and prices reasonable. Give them a try if you are in town.

Went in for dinner which was delicious. Our Waitress was the only server on and let me tell you, you would of never known. She was on point! Very impressed with our service.

We were visiting Maryland and decided to try them for breakfast on our way home. The restaurant is very down home and country. The food took some time, but what else would you expect? It's all made from scratch and well worth the wait. I'm from NYC, where food is popped out in a hurry (because we're impatient), so don't listen to me that it took some time to come. 😂 Food was fresh and delicious! We said we'll be back! 😋

Creamy crab soup and fish sandwich and fries takes you to heaven. I had a bite of my son's classic burger, it was delish. I am sure the other foods here are as good.

LOVE IT!! Just moved to the area and we’re new locals. But listen, before we even moved here we ate here 3 times. It’s the best local breakfast. You might think I’m exaggerating but I’m NOT. The atmosphere. The people. The food, oh nelly the food. It’s just, special. Crisfield optimized in a small little restaurant that is friendly and fun! Always kind staff, always clean!

Probably the best onion rings I have had the pleasure to try in years. The nearest thing I have to compare them to is RJ Mayo's near Oriental, NC. I think these might be even better but I'd need to do a side-by-side comparison to determine which are the ultimate winner.

Absolutely delicious food! Fresh and delicious, the portion sizes were generous and it was exactly what we were looking for. If you are in the area they are a definite must stop by and get something to eat!
