Well I had this fabulous dish it was called confetti hash browns it was ham several types of different peppers it was really good but see I'm the vegan so the left off the meat or cheese I said I don't want any meat in it and it was really great so being a vegan like I am all you have to do is tell the people when you order that you're vegan and they'll say oh okay some ask you what does that mean and you just say I don't cannibalize any animal products so they'll leave off the cheese they will leave off the meat but every place I've gone and they don't have the vegan option on the menu they do fix me a vegan dish all they have to do is leave off any type of animal product egg cheese dairy anything that is an animal products because we vegans not murder animals we don't believe in animal abuse anyone who eats meat actually is an animal abuser you should see the animals cry before they die it's sickening and sad and it's anger and it makes me angry at the people who eat meat when they say oh yeah I am an animal lover no you're not you murder animals you pay assassins to murder them viciously and violently there's no way to have any type of animal that is not violent you should see what I have in my phone I show Friends all the time this is what you do you make the animal suffer. Yes this place is really good and this is just going there and trying anything on the menu is all good everything I ever had their is good even when I was eating meat and stuff like that it was good but I changed my life so now I'm digging but yes this place is good food good service and it's conveniently located and they've been in business for quite some time so yes I suggest everyone stopped in there and try this the service was good the waitresses are all really nice and sweet everybody was happy in the restaurant friendly.

This place is truly a real country Cafe! The menu has down home meals, solid good for you food, that's delicious and a joy to eat. The place was packed when I came in, yet I was served my salad shortly after I my order was taken. Then the scrumptious hot beef sandwich came surprisingly about the same time as a fast food drive thru! And the apple pie was just like my granny's, flaky crust and stuffed two inches thick! The wait staff were courteous and very friendly. This is a hidden treasure anyone visiting in the Grand Lake area should take the time to enjoy! (Forgive the messy plate, I took the photo after I ate half the meal, lol I was so full I had to take the pie to go!)

The Green Country Cafe is a stop on the official Oklahoma Route 66 passport. It is a roadside diner that may be tempted to drive by but do yourself a favor and stop. The fried chicken is delicious and comes in a quarter or half portion and choice of meat is possible. The chili with beans and tater tots would be a perfect compliment for a cold day. Very delicious and we will come back!

My route 66 passport brought me here and I'm so glad that it did! The food was great, the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere is so welcoming. A must stop for anybody traveling along the old route! I definitely look forward to stopping by here again in the future.

I found this place by accident when i was looking for a place to land for the night. It's next to the little truck stop which of itself is a nice spot to visit. There's also a Dollar General a couple hundred yards up the road which is convenient for the teucker crowd to get ods and ends. There is also a small motel; it looked nice fro the exterior.

But i digress. The steak I had was quite tasty, much so all that's needed is a little salt and pepper. For me, and this is just my taste, it needed a little garlic. The house salad was nice but lacked onion but was otherwise good.

And the pie, I had the chocolate pie. It was a nice finish to my meal and only $3. The waitress' did a fine job.

Lastly, if there are any quilt ladies seeing this review, there are several quilt shops within about a 40 mile radius of this site. This would make for a goid shop hop.

Anyway, enjoy your visit if you are in this neck of the woods.

Breakfast was great. Spanish omlette, tatters and bacon that surely is not from a resturant food vendor; tasty thick cut bacon.

I liked this place. It was a quaint country cafe. I just had the coconut pie and ice tea. It was very good. Reasonably priced. The waitress was on the ball. This place was on the Route 66 passport. So we went.

What a great County Cafe indeed, Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you. This is a great little place to eat at, very welcoming place full of gracious people and delicious food. Whether a salad, all-day breakfast, or great old hamburger, there is something for everyone.

Chicken fried steak was great!! Cheap prices, great food, and friendly waitress. My girlfriend wanted a BLT custom-made with a fried egg in it and they had no problem making it. We paid less than $20 and left there stuffed!

It's the perfect place to go if you want mom's cooking. Breakfast was spot on and delish! The people were friendly and all around were the happiest morning folk this side of the state. Great coffee and excellent service added to amazing food (generously proportioned) made our stop one to remember. We will be back! Thanks guys!
