Words cannot express how much I value the entire staff here!!! From day one it’s been a pleasure bringing my two babies in for routine and sometimes not so routine visits! Dr. Goff is amazing and to the point! I trust every word that comes out of his mouth relating to the care of my two pups! Just an amazing place and people all around!

When my Ozzy B ate pieces of a “hoof” treat purchased from Tractor Supply and was pooping blood…I knew I had to seek Professional help even though I am a very “home remedy” type of person both personally and for my fur baby. I never felt good about my previous experiences at another vet so I trusted my gut and tried somewhere different. I am so glad I did! We had the best visit ever at this vet despite the uncomfortable, but necessary exam. I was so impressed with the nurse and the Dr…they both actually got on the floor to examine my dog…instead of having to pick him up and put him on the exam table. We were not rushed through at all…they listened to all the details about what brought us there and answered all my questions. Although we only go to the Vet when absolutely necessary…I will definitely go back if needed in the future. I am so grateful and appreciative that my dog was treated so gently and we were both treated so kindly! Highly recommend this place!

Academy is always professional and do great with our dogs and cat. They take their time to understand any concerns and have made precise decisions on how we should proceed forward especially with our older girl. They were able to find why she was having problems when no other vets did over the years. I want to thank them for being so caring and understanding. I definitely recommend Academy Animal Hospital in Laurinburg.

I have had 3 of my dogs as patients here since I was a teenager, now i have a cat with them as well. We love them. All the staff are very friendly. I now have a senior dog who is almost 18 years old and they are so kind and gentle with him. Very thankful to have them so close to home.

The staff was very friendly and communicative of the entire process. I didn't feel like they were trying to take advantage of me and trick me into spending more money (like other places) From the front office staff to the doctor, you guys made us feel right at home. The follow up text to check on my cat meant so much to me to see how she was doing after her shots. I haven't stopped bragging on Academy to my friends and family because it was such a great experience.

Outstanding service, friendly staff, excellent doctor!! Was the first visit with our new dog and they were really good making him feel comfortable. So glad they are our veterinarian clinic.

Dr. Goff was able to see my fur baby on a last-minute notice on a Saturday. The staff were very nice and my fur baby Buddy is feeling so much better now. It was a pleasant experience for us both.

Absolutely love this place. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They care about each animal they treat and listen to the owners.

I have to say by far the fastest and most efficient vet I’ve ever been to! Now let’s talk, it’s your local google travel agent here to give you the scoop!
They were very prompt in setting up our new dog chart / visit over the phone and then set an immediate appointment for a few days later. They requested our records from our old vet for us as well!
I was 5 mins late due to school bus traffic and they called me to confirm I was coming That’s a big win, as they call I’m pulling in and they didn’t make me change the appointment We went inside and the place had a clean smell Didnt smell like animals or waste (which is very hard to do considering)
They took us right back and put us in a room all staff was super friendly and adored my 100lb rott Dane mix who lives up to their name and was a complete Angel the entire visit Ok moving on, the dr we saw was the main vets wife and I can’t remember her name to save my life but she was awesome For first visit she got right down with us in the floor and made attachments to Angel before poking etc He seems to like her bedside manner ALOT and so did I! The technicians we fabulous and were very easy to talk to and were able to answer all my questions
Once we were done with visit it was time to pay the piper and considering again we are new I hd no clue what I was expecting Where we moved from the cost of new appointment and meds times 3 would have put me close to 400$ However I am here to say it! They had the best prices when the front clerk told me my cost I was like woah for real, because there was no way it wasn’t costing me more. Less than 200$ and that mainly was medications cost The actual dr visit was less than 60$ and that my friends is what I’m talking about! Thank you Academy’ for being so awesome, you guys imprinted on my heart as well as my Angel boy and I hope we can finally get him back on track! Big big thanks!

Now, there always a little bad with the good, there was zero issue with the actual establishment I give them 5 stars accross the board, but it’s the patrons of the establishment that this is for! Please, do not react to another animal when they enter the room It is people like you that cause accidents When you react like an animal/ or dogs going to attack you and your little feist it causes more stress on them in an aready stressful moment Please be kind to others and continue your business and move along. Making a scene or acting scared is really the reason most accidents happen! We are not worried about you or your little dog we are on a leash and harness and I’m sure you just don’t have better sense Anyway point being if your going to act that way in public in a place that services other animals of all shapes sizes and breeds you need to be educated on how to act in public with your animals and around other animals That is all, and the nicest way I can put it! All in all a great experience and would recommend them to everyone! Thanks!

Always friendly and professional with not just me, but also with my dog. They also board customer pets. My dog stayed five days recently, and before she came out to me she went around the office to say goodbye.

I Just moved here and new patient. You fit me in next day and everyone I encountered was so kind and professional. The vet was great, even took time to look things up, in a weird situation that could be multiple issues. Absolutely found my animal hospital here!

Had to get to vet as our 10 yr. old Chihuahua developed an abcess on Thanksgiving and Acadamy Animal Hospital accommodated our needs. Papa had surgery and they treated him so well! They are a gentle and caring staff! Thank you for caring for pur fur baby!

Our pet dog had an emergency and couldn’t be seen in our area. I called Academy and they worked him in within 45 min and was able to sedate him to remove a toy lodged in his bottom jaw/teeth. Very thankful!!

Front office worked me in with a full schedule on a Saturday, Elaine vet tech is top notch, Dr. Goff was extremely thorough with exam and explanations.

Dr. Schillig is a excellent veterinarian! He is very knowledgeable and I always feel comfortable with him and his staff managing the health of my two puppies. He goes above and beyond (but never beyond the scope of what's needed, like some vets) to make sure my dogs are maintaining good health. Dr. Schillig also saved us a lot of money and saved our Shih tzu's life. When another 24/7 vet gave the wrong diagnosis, it only took Dr. Schillig 10 minutes to examine and diagnose the real problem. The Dr. and staff thoroughly communicates with me, so that I can fully understand my dog's health needs. They also have reasonable treatment prices. I would totally recommend Academy Animal Hospital to all.

The team at Academy Animal hospital is great. They are friendly and treat my pet like their own.

We’ve taken our pets here for boarding, regular visits, and when they’ve gotten sick. I can’t say enough good things about Academy! They get us in asap and treat us and our fur babies so well!

Although I miss seeing Doc Schillig in person, I felt I received equal attention. He took the time to answer all of my questions. The timeliness and quality of service, by the Doc and his entire staff was exceptional, as always. Thank you for being there for me. I trust the health of my dog to no one else!

Dr. Fay and Deborah treated our Ham and Marmalade like their own!! They were great with them! I really love this place! And Pam and Corey are very kind and attentive to our needs as cat 'parents'! Super place!!
