Okmulgee Memorial Hospital

Do NOT believe the few bad reviews. Those few folks were having a really bad day, bless their hearts. Now, a family member complained of stomach pain. We took him there. Everyone was amazing. Yes the hospital is old, but their knowledge, technology, professionalism and true Oklahoma-style caring is above and beyond great! Do not hesitate to use our great hospital. P.S. They actually saved my brother from a nearly ruptured appendix. Thanks everyone and bless you.

I was in this hospital from 12/22-3/23 and received the best medical care I have ever seen. All the staff are wonderful. The PT staff, nurses, Dr.'s, and the aides were all wonderful. After my discharge I went to a skilled nursing center and the Dr. Decided I was not well enough to go back to work. Otherwise I would be seeking employment at this hospital. Loved my time there and miss the wonderful people there. If I could I would give them all a big raise they deserve it. Carrie was my NA alot while there and I love her like a sister.

My family and I have never had a bad experience, the wait times are nothing like they once were when I was a kid, I like how I can just go to the area of the hospital and all the care I need is all right next to each other, whether it’s urgent care, women’s health, the dentist, or the ER, or even a prescription. The longest wait is never that long.

I felt like a star the staff is first rate and so compassionate. I was scared the wonderful Doctors and nurses made me feel safe and comfortable in their care. I thank them all for their professionalism. I am a Elder and my first colonoscopy at 70 years young. My Tribe I would not be alive without you may the great Sprites protect you now and forever . Mother is staying in the hospital. As soon as I got in the room they brought her dinner and the nurse asked me if I would like anything to eat. Then she came back and asked me if I wanted anything to drink. From what my mother has told me they are awesome nurses and staff.

Was transferred from Hillcrest, I am amazed at the passion these Healthcare workers have.. they have treated me with the utmost compassion and respect and care I could have ever dreamed of, my journey is only just started but these RNs, Aides, Dr's. Have really been comforting so super impressed,

I’ve been seen here a few times recently and I received excellent care. The providers are knowledgeable. The nurses are timely where it counts. The rad techs and phlebotomists are courteous and quick. Although the facility could use an update (which I hear is in the works) I prefer to receive care where I feel confident in my providers skill and knowledge.

I could not have been in a better place when I contracted Covid. They took great care of my husband and I who came in at the same time. My condition was severe and they gave me great care. I survived which I had a little chance of survival, and I credit the care I received here for making a difference

Had a procedure done yesterday and these ratings spooked me. I had a great experience and guessing things have changed since prior postings. Great staff, nice and clean clinic...

The staff was awesome!! I thought I had an ct to do there and the guy at the imaging desks told me “ well I’ve got some bad news and good news” I told him to shoot it to me straight!! Lol, he said you are supposed to be in Okema, I said dang it man!!! Then he said I can get it changed to here . I said heck yeah!! And in less than an hour I was done with everything!! Great people!!

My family has had great experiences in Okmulgee and Okemah. Yes it needs upgraded. But the drs and nurses have been right about diagnosing our issues. I am not Native American, but the rest of my family is. I feel like we all get treated with respect and caring.

I was just there visiting a friend of mine, and he'd been in there several times for weeks at a time due to medical issues. And he loves it

I was transferred from Okemah ER to be admitted at Okmulgee for Covid. I was admitted November 18 and spent 9 days in the hospital. I had a night RN that was awesome and a day RN that was awesome. One CNA was wonderful. I credit the staff for keeping me alive. I can say without a doubt I wouldn’t hesitate to go there again.
