In 2003 I was traveling to visit family in Oklahoma when my purse was stolen on the greyhound bus. I was stranded in Oakmogee, OK with my 3 yr old daughter.. The shelter helped me with a place to stay for myself and my daughter until I could contact my bank and get funds to make it home. God bless the man and wife who ran it back then. They even took me to church with them.

The employees are friendly and very helpful. They don't judge their just simply there to help. No matter the situation if they can't help they can point you in the right direction.

Great program, good people. Staff is well above par. Hopefully they will get their new building soon so they are able to help more people as much as they helped me and mine.

Went for Thanksgiving dinner while visiting family. The people there are very generous and sweet. They have helped my family when they needed it.
