The latest posts I have seen here looked pretty rude. With COVID going on, don't they know that City Hall could be short staffed. How in the world are the residents going to get the service if the office is short on staff? It won't come with a wave of a magic wand. But yes, in some people's little worlds it does. I am writing to the mayor about trying to get passenger train service restored. It would help boost tourism and keep the remaining restaurants open.

Mrs Katy at the water dept doesn't like to be called a woman. Lol. Because I asked if there was another manager or supervisor in the facility that was a woman. She got mad and said she doesn't appreciate that. And I asked what should I call her, a them, it, or they? So she stormed off crying. Lol. I have been getting extra charges since February. Please fire most of these people and get new staff. They even short changed a guy while I was waiting in line. 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂

Never sends bills out on time. If they sent them a week or two in advance I'd have ~almost~ no problem with them.

Update: Received my latest bill after cutoff date. Come on now, not even going to try to do right by your community?

Had issues with my pool and had to refill. Before doing so I contacted the city to ask how much the extra water would cost. They told me $78. After having the water professionally tested I found it was going to cost me an additional $200 to treat so it would be safe to swim in. I then called the city again to be sure that I wasn’t going to be charged for waste water since I was only filling my pool. The same clerk assured me that the only charge would be filling it. This was a deciding factor whether to refill or close for the season. Received my bill and was charged $108 for waste water! Apparently the clerks at city hall are either giving misleading information or are ignorant with their policies. Either way, they lied to me. Always get the name of who you speak with there or they will deny everything!

Used drive thru to pay both of my water bills today. I guess I'm just used to a little more public relations friendliness, but I don't think it is to much to ask for the inside people to at least say something to acknowledge my presence. No conversation at all, and then had to push button and ask for a receipt for my cash payments. She acted as if that was the most inconvenient part of her day. Really sad. City workers are public servants and should treat the citizens with a little respect and dignity.

Seem to specialize in inconvenience. You can't call because they never pick up the phone, and whenever I drive down there I have to wait in line for 30 minutes to an hour. They're also very quick to shut off your water but incredibly slow getting it back on.

They want your money asap and are quick to turn your service off if you dont pay but takes their sweet time to turn your services back on for you. I wish there was another water service around here, Would drop this place in a heart beat

The most horrible company I’ve ever had to go through. If okmulgee had another option i would leave and not use them. I called and asked for my water to be turned back on since i paid early this morning. So rude and disrespectful and told me they didn’t care.

I’m sure it’s possible to sue them, over charging water we cannot consume with those outrageous fees and late fees they charge .....it’s ridiculous not to mention the rude staff
