McClellan’s at Monarch Cafe’

This food was dynamite! I believe this is a black owned establishment. My husband and I were going on a lunch date being that our daughter is expecting to be born in two weeks. We hadn't even planned on going here but boy am I glad we did. The food was excellent. The buffet was on point and so was the service. I'm most definitely going back!!! Best soul food by far? The menu is wonderful and the prices are very reasonable. You most definitely get more for your buck at this place. It's in a beautiful area and you can eat inside or outside!

Lovely restaurant, had breakfast with a side of apple pie! Everything was yummy and service was great. Wonderful family owned and ran restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. Nice Modern and welcoming vibe. The food was seasoned well and full of flavor. The menu has a huge variety. Their buffet was a deal! 20 bucks for unlimited short rib, cat fish, fried chicken and fixins... I also ordered shrimp and grits and I was pleased with them as well. The prices are reasonable and on par with the food quality. I'm always trying new restaurants but this joint is getting put in rotation for sure!

Cool restaurant we found at the Farmer's Market. Got breakfast Saturday and went back for the buffet Sunday. Great food and environment. They even have a stocked bar here.

Update: Had the opportunity to visit Monarch Cafe again. Came in for the Sunday Jazz Brunch. OMG...... The atmosphere was A1. The sax player provided a warm laid back vibe that definitely gets you in the mood for food and drinks. Both of which were also excellent. But I must highlight the food..... The buffet offered so many wonderful options. If you are in the area, please do not pass this place up!

This food is DELICIOUS!! The menu is simple but the food is not!!! It was prepared so neatly, picture perfect! I had the lemonade which tasted great! Beautiful location and atmosphere. Really need to give it more stars. The building is so nice and inviting. The service is excellent.

I highly recommend stopping by for lunch (11-3pm). I definitely plan to go back when in Spartanburg!

Looking for a place to eat Sunday dinner and happened upon this place. We typically cook on Sundays and are pretty cautious as to where we dine. This place is superb!!! The food was seasoned very well. This will definitely be in our rotation of restaurants!

Went there for the first time this past Sunday and wow!!! Five stars all around! Buffet only on Sundays. The food was wonderful, the staff were super friendly, and the music was fantastic. Best Sunday lunch we have had in a while!

Went for the first time today. Met the owner/chef . . He was so welcoming. I loved the feel of the restaurant. And the food was delicious. We ordered today's special of fried chicken and I had that with fries & mac n cheese. I have never been so quickly addicted to mac n cheese before! I will be back . . . And I'll bring the whole family with me next time.

Had a great couple of experiences, great music everytime, and the food was amazing! The breakfast crab cake plate is definitely a favorite 🤤 very chill vibe, and Chef Bill is so friendly whenever he is able to leave the kitchen for a few. If you haven’t tried this awesome brunch spot new to the spartanburg area you are truly missing out! I’ll definitely be back!✌🏾

Run, don't walk. Somebody's black grandma is back there putting her foot in the greens and fish. Worth every penny. Love how this business gives back to their community! We went and had the lunch buffet on Sunday. Best catfish I've ever had. Had the collard wontons and the broccoli salad for starters...wonderful. great job guys!

Best breakfast buffet I've ever had... Can't believe this little gem has been hiding right here in Spartanburg. Will be back every chance I get.

This is the real deal true southern buffet. Catfish ,fried chicken, rib all great side were cook perfectly will be back!!!
