Yummy breakfast, sweet people, and delicious bbq in the perfect spot. We are running out of amazing places like this, so glad we found them and got to enjoy their hospitality.

My husband and I were out for a ride on a rainy day, and came across the little store. The delicious smell of BBQ made us turn around so we were already excited for the food. We had already ate dinner but it smelled too good to pass up. My hubby got a BBQ sandwich and a drink and I got M and Ms lol. The smell won me over in the car. This sandwich was so delicious!! Even without sauce on it, it was on the side, this was amazing!! Then we put the sauce on it. It was simply one of the best BBQ sandwiches we have ever eaten. So good the hubs went back in to tell them it was amazing. They said they also have breakfast, which is my personal favorite so we will for sure go back to try that.

We happened to find Sam's by accident while on a day trip and were cutting across from Dunlap to Manchester. It is the BEST BBQ we have eaten in a long time. I judge BBQ on the taste without any sauce on it which is how I like it and this BBQ was superb. We will have to find a reason to be back in the area!

We stopped for take out after a hike at Grundy Lake. Absolutely delicious pulled pork and smoked chicken plates!! The kids shared a cheeseburger and said it was the best “cheese hamburger” they’ve ever had!! We hope to go back again before our vacation at the Grand View RV Park Treehouse is over. Very nice folks, we were happy that we stopped by this evening.

This sure is an odd place decor wise. It was interesting to see a variety of relics from the past.
We got the brisket plate and a pulled pork sandwich. The bbq was good for being in the middle of nowhere!

The owners really take care of their clients! Plus you can find out what's going on in the area. No need for a newspaper or social media. All the food is home made. Be sure to try the pies. It's like eating at your favorite aunt's home.

Small roadside general store and diner with pulled pork, chicken and brisket smoked on site, homemade corn pudding, slaw, potato salad, baked beans, cobblers and more--plus a killer down-home breakfast menu. Shelves are filled with vintage toys and memorabilia and a potbelly stove in the center of the store has been a gathering point for generations of locals. This is the real deal and a must on your visit to Tennessee.

Fabulous food! Everything is good. It has the feel of being at Grandma’s! The owner visits with everyone and also cooks for you!! This is an old time store that has been converted to a restaurant, but still retains that feeling of nostalgia!

The best chef salad I eat is here with ranch dressing. Anytime I pass thru town, I stop here and make sure to eat. Definitely one of my FAVORITE places. Great food, people, and service!

You'll have to try it to see..some of the best country cooking around here,and they have desserts to die for, try the hummingbird cake, that's one dessert they can't keep for long, so good, it's out the door,, so try this place, and I'm sure you'll go back again 😋😋😋😘

Affordable and quaint. What we had was very tasty. Nothing crazy special or homemade but what you get is good and affordable.
