Green Frog Farm Weddings & Events

This was an amazing experience. Our cabin was well stocked with all of the essentials we needed. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable. The cabin was set up to the tee for a 1800s feel, from the bear claw porcelain tub to all of the lamps and all of the decorations. Inside of this cabin was outstanding! Outside, there was blackberries growing ponds all throughout the property, we stayed in (The Pines) cabin, And we had a stocked pond just outside our door , a fire pit and from the wrap around the front porch rocking chairs and gliders. It was just perfect!! Also a great tour for the children to show them everything throughout the land from the one room schoolhouse with photos from locals from the period to the local church Just a lot to see. Highly recommend and will definitely stop in next time we're passing through!

My wife and I got married this past weekend at the Green Frog Farm Venue. When I tell you it was the greatest experience we could’ve asked for, I truly mean that. There was plenty of room, ponds stocked with fish. Plenty of super awesome little cabins. It’s also just such a pretty place. On the day of our wedding my groomsman and I even got to listen to some stories from the guy who was there making sorghum with mules. Not only did he give out some good information, but he told us some good life lessons as well. Everything was super clean. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re wanting a perfect place for a wedding or just a laid back comfortable, and beautiful place to stay, this is the place for you. I don’t have one single bad thing to say about this place. We will recommend Green Frog Farm to anyone and everyone.

Absolutely adorable! We wanted to fish but got rained out. Romantic. This was a great overnight getaway. Highly recommend staying here, true cabins.

Green Frog Farms is a beautiful step back in time! We stayed in their cabins that were well furnished with period antiques. Our son & now daughter-in-law enjoyed hosting their guests here for a memorable wedding weekend. The owners were more than accommodating with all of our requests too.

We were here for a wedding. Everything was beautiful. There are several ponds and cabins, the main hall was perfect for the reception . The back patio was great for dancing and a good time was had by all.

Seems a good place for the wedding... I'll make another review if we decide to make the wedding there :)

Beautiful cabins and fantastic farm house and the lakes are even better

This was an amazing environment for my daughters wedding. I highly recommend this venue.

We had a lovely stay in one of the cabins. It was well furnished and very cozy. Just the quiet getaway we needed. The hospitality given us was wonderful. We toured the grounds and historical buildings and loved every bit of it. We will definitely recommend a stay to friends and family and may even make it back one day.

We came, again, for our anniversary, because we love the place. It is so rustic, and quiet, we love to get a way from the hustle and bustle of everyday life by going up the road about one hour to these inviting cabins. We stayed in the Moonshine cabin this time and had a great time. The only thing missing is a spatula for the eggs (I can flip them in the pan, but for those that can't), and a cork screw for the wine (I used the shoe method and it worked just fine), but other than that, everything was perfect!

Excellent experience. A unique escape to the way things used to be. Clean,quiet, and friendly. Can not ask for anything more.

Absolutely splendid destination for a peaceful getaway. The only thing that could possibly make it better is somekind of... seasonal food option perhaps?

My husband and I got married here November 10 and everything was amazing. The venue has so many different options for indoor and outdoor ceremony and/or reception! We wanted a nice cozy wedding and beautiful pictures. This was the perfect place for just that. The venue grounds have so much to offer. We also cannot say enough about Krista while dealing with the scheduling and everything else she helped with. If you are looking for a beautiful venue, we definitely suggest Green Frog Farm with all it's accommodations!

Absolutely love Green Frog! I got married there and everything was perfect. The owners are extremely easy to work with and are willing to help in any way. Such a unique piece of property full of history and beauty.

Beautiful spot. My daughter’s wedding and reception were here as well as the rehearsal dinner. Owners were in constant communication and even called her the day before the rehearsal dinner to let her know that a storm had come through but that they would have the grounds looking good by rehearsal. Top notch!

We’ve always had great experiences at Green Frog Farm. As photographers, they’ve always been accommodating to us, as well as our couples. The venue is beautiful with both an indoor and outdoor option. They also have photo opportunities around the farm, as well as a small chapel.

We stayed at Green Frog Village Cabin one night on our way to Mammoth Cave in KY. What a mistake to book only one night! We slept in a 150 year old cabin with all the modern amenities. It really was like going back in time with all the original walls, floors and stairs. The cabin was tastefully decorated with period pieces which gave it the 'old feel.' There was a porch on the front and back of the cabin with porch swings and rocking chairs on both. The grounds were just beautiful complete with four or five ponds, a cotton gin, donated old school house, little white church, another cabin and other interesting structures. What a peaceful setting!
The owner, John D. Freeman, was kind enough to stop by and fill us in on some of the history of Green Frog Village. We hope to visit Green Frog Village again someday.
