Fantastic restaurant! Very friendly with a wonderful atmosphere. The food was excellent. I highly recommend it!

Amazing filet mignon in Albany, Texas. The shishkabobs and chicken dishes were also excellent. Large portions and I barely made it through half of my meal.

Surprisingly good restaurant in the middle of nowhere ! The food was well prepared and fresh. Smashing fine service too. Definitely would return if I find myself in the area again !

My mother who is in a wheelchair and I went there on 9/20/2022 and it was an amazing experience. They staff was very nice and very accommodating for my mother. Jessica was incredibly sweet as was the other waitress. The food was amazing. My mother and I have already decided that will be going to this restaurant whenever we visit Albany.

We were passing through and Google recommended it... Thankful that we stopped! I ordered a medium-rare NY strip. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Excellent. I am always nervous about ordering steak out because I can cook a perfect steak at home. Getting that medium-rare outcome can be tricky. The servers were friendly and knowledgable. The owner was very witty and wonderful. He told us about the special and you could tell that he took great pride in his restaurant. And yes, he has a lot to be proud of. You can tell he is reputable in the community by the amount of regulars that were in there. The tables were packed and everyone was greeted by their first name. What a fun experience.

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! We were in the area shopping for a retirement spot for my parents and decided to stop in for lunch. The food great and the serving sizes were huge...but the best part was the service. The owner/chef is hilarious and so personable! We enjoyed his food and company so much we decided to take my brother and sister-in-law back the following evening for dinner. It did not disappoint! The chef's special was one of the best steaks I've ever had and we raise our own beef. Again the owner was so much fun to visit with and tell jokes with that we will definitely make it a point to take the detour and stop in every time we head towards the DFW area!

Food was fantastic and worth the drive! Will try their location in Abilene next! Forgive me I didn't get pictures I will be sure to next time! The food and staff was the best. Owner was there and visited with all to make sure everything was perfect!! There are not enough places that do that, unless they are small businesses! That is why, we try, the local are more times then chain restaurants or fast food places to go above and beyond! It is their lively hood on the line!!

Owner made us feel like we were his personal friends. Food was excellent, and even though they were very busy, service was great.

We stopped in here after a day setting our lease up. Have been coming through Albany for years and never tried to stopped. So glad we did. We had the rack of lamb special. OMY it was delicious. The atmospher and setting was historical and love the staff it was difiantly a place to come. And will again. 💗

Steak was slightly undercooked for my preference, but was good. All sides were good as well. Service was above board. Our server was excellent.

Customer service was Out of this world. Like being welcomed home. I had the ham and cheese sandwich which was way more than I expected. Along with the fries homemade mind you the meal was outstanding. Would definitely go out of my way to try this place. Large variety of food items.

Service is top notch and so is the food! Best shrimp I have had since I lived on the coast (and even then, they hold their own!). If you are fortunate enough to be there on a night they have hanger steak you will not be disappointed! I could cut mine with a fork! Delicious! I stop every time work brings me to Albany.

I attended a mystery dinner theater performance here. It was tons of fun and the dinner did not disappoint. They served filet mignon (not wrapped in bacon) that was perfectly cooked, moist and tasty, with pan fried potatoes and fresh green beans. Not fancy, but delicious. Dessert was our choice of banana pudding or brownie. I had the banana pudding. It was different from the usual "pudding" and had a bit of a chiffon texture. Very tasty. The theater company had reserved the bar area for the event. It was a lot of fun! The owner popped in several times to make sure diners were pleased with their food and that service was going well.

Saw the report on Texas Country Reporter and decided to make the 2-hr trip from Fort Worth to eat there and later do some dark sky stargazing (superb!). This restaurant is quite simply DYNAMITE! Excellent steak, wonderful ambience, and the owner (Ali) personally keeps the dining experience lively. The rest of the staff is super, and being banished to the bar to wait for a table is no problem at all. I highly recommend making the visit!!

FANTASTIC! I rarely write reviews but I just had to this time. This place is genuinely a hidden gem. My husband and I were passing through town and found this wonderful restaurant. We couldn’t be happier. The food is delicious, the bread is out of this world and the staff is kind and so pleasant. We live about two hours from here and we might just drive to this town one of these days to enjoy it again.

Phenomenal food, service, atmosphere, presentation...everything was exceptional! The entire staff was welcoming, very attentive, and entertaining throughout dinner. The owner was in and out of the kitchen checking on every plate sent out and the dining area was full. Truly a hidden treasure! The food alone is worth every mile of the drive to get there.

Thursday night, all you can eat shrimp! Need I say more? No matter what you may order it is worth it, we have never been disappointed. The wait staff is friendly, knowledgeable and they make sure you don't go away hungry. No matter if you go for shrimp night or any time you won't be disappointed! And they have the best Long Island Ice Tea in the state.

Great food and loved the way the root beer was served. I was clearly an outsider, in fact I'm from Oklahoma, but the service was great. They recommended me some popular dishes off the menu, and I was not dissatisfied at all.

Now this review is very outdated, and referencing my visit in 2011 when I was in town visiting family, but I'm visiting them again in May, so hopefully it's as good as I remember
