Heritage House Inn

A truly exceptional stay at this family owned hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm welcome set the tone for an unforgettable experience. Impeccably clean and well-appointed rooms provided an amazing retreat. The hotel although has limited amenities, it does not take away from the experience this hotel provided. The hotel may be located in a small town but it still manages to provide an amazing view. The view of the sunset in definitely one that everyone should see. Every detail, from the attentive service to the exquisite decor, contributed to a seamless and delightful stay. Without a doubt, this establishment surpasses expectations, earning a solid 5 stars. Highly recommend for those in this small town in need of a place to stay 10/10.

The check in area is full of history of Muleshoe! So delightful. This was the best nights sleep in my whole trip! Clean, comfortable and quiet room to relax in. I will definitely stay here again!

It's La Quinta quality. I stay here as a half way stop from Austin to Colorado. The rooms are older but clean. The location is worth it to me. I like being out in the country. I feel safe here at this location and it's always been great. No bugs in the room is good for me and it's better than sleeping in your car. I hope to stay here again.

What a nice spot. Nothing grand, but all - EVERYTHING you need for a short stay right across the street from Hendricks North Main Hospital.
Nice coffee room with microwave and plates, utensils, cups. Extra linens available downstairs where the washer/dryer are located with free laundry soap. They have a luggage trolley available. Couldn't ask for more at $45 (2 twins), it's the cleanest room I've seen!
*Note that the parking in back is a shorter walk to the rear entrance than the parking lot across the side street.

Rooms are good to stay, room service is good, owner's behavior is good, if you visit once, you will visit again and again.

pet friendly. very personable and reasonable front desk and housekeeper(s). we have felt welcome here. ac blows cold and the filters were clean. hot water with good steady pressure.

I was driving across the state and was getting too tired to drive anymore. Luckily I found this place nearby and called to see if they had any rooms for the night. They did and I was there fifteen minutes later. Such comfortable and easy atmosphere. I was so exhausted that I would have been happy with a tiny room and a single bed. But it was actually very spacious and clean. Bathroom was tidy and bed was comfortable. Just the right kind of stop for a weary traveler. They were not serving breakfast the next day, but apologized profusely. Thankful for the comfort end hospitality offered on such short notice.

We stayed here in January of 2013. I am happy to say that it exceeded our expectations for the area, and for a modest price.

The room not only looked clean, it smelled clean. There was a very comfortable recliner in the room, as well as a flat screen TV, great mattress, and nice sheets - far above most thin ones you often find in a motel.

The motel has been very well cared for, and we would definately stay again.

I'm from Alamogordo NM and on 6/4/2012 I stayed at Heritage House Inn and I always depend on the reviews when making a choice as to where I do business. All the motels in this town had bad reviews, I was in Muleshoe to do Business the following morning so I checked out Heritage House Inn and was very surprised to find how nice it was, Huge Room , Very Clean, Quite, Free Breakfast. Employees was Very Nice and helpful. I want to say THANK YOU and I will stay here anytime I'm in this area. They also have Truck Parking

First the room had 2 lamps with NO bulbs, & the receptionist didn't know how to change them & couldn't just hand me 2 bulbs to change them. Her dad finally came about 45 munutes later &
put bulbs in. Second, the website and the marquee said free break -fast, but there was none - and hadn't been for 6 months!
How long does it take to change a website & a marquee?!

We love that it's quiet, the beds are comfortable and even over that you motel that went up at the south end of town we feel more at home. There's a good eating place within a block or two.

We stay here when we are in Mule shoe. We are very satisfied. Love the motel. Everyone are always very friendly there

I grew up in an 1800s Victorian Hotel in the Midwest, and it is very similar in a lot of ways to this. I would definitely stay here again!
