Today was a sad day for my family. We had to help our Brutus cross the rainbow bridge after 17 years of so much love and snuggles. He was my mom’s best friend for so many years. The staff at PAW Health Network were so amazing in caring for Brutus in his final moments. My mom will never forget her experience with you and your kindness throughout this whole process. Thank you for everything you do.

On July 1st I noticed my 9 year old cat not acting herself. She didn’t greet me at the door when I came home from work, she laid in my bed all day, showed no interest in her favorite game of fetch and was very lethargic when I went to pick her up. The following day she seemed worse, she had not been eating and she had spent most of the day hiding. We decided to take her in to PAW Health July 3rd. Obviously they triage and prioritize emergencies and our cat was further back in line so we went home for several hours until they called us and asked to run diagnostics. Later that day when she was cleared to go home they told us they discovered she had liver diseases, they sent us home with medications and we decided to do at home care. However she continued to not eat even with medications so we called back and they had us bring her back in July 5th (5 days of her not eating) and we admitted her to be hospitalized although she had to be triaged again. While hospitalized they X-rayed her and discovered blocked gas in her intestines, she had still not been eating and doubt surfaced over whether food would even be able to move through her GI if there was a blockage and possibility of a mechanical blockage was raised. My gut felt there may have been a mechanical blockage because she had been chewing off pieces of a plastic plant I owned and I had seen pieces in vomit I had found around the house leading up to her sudden decline. The next day they had re X-rated and found gas had moved only slightly, she was still not eating and I was an emotional wreck and desperate to save the life of my cat. They told us the only way to know for sure was through surgery. May cat was going on a week without food with no guarantee food will go anywhere do to a blockage so I made the decision to do surgery to see if there was an object blocking her. We gave the go ahead and paid for the surgery but I will forever be thankful that a vet called us back to advise us against that decision for anyone claiming that they are only about money. The vet said he was strongly against the decision for surgery although he wasn’t going to stop us if that was what we really wanted to do. He went on to explain that they found liver issues and the blockage makes more sense that it is related to the liver issue rather than her coming in with 2 completely separate issues happening at the same time. He expressed his concern for the fact she has not eaten in a week and that surgery will likely make that worse and provided us an option to do barium and prove with about 80% accuracy that it is not a mechanical blockage and surgery is not necessary. They called us back hours later, told us they did the barium and did a new x ray and found the barium moved all the way through her intestines to her colon AND she began showing interest in food. They kept her one more night and told us the next morning before we went to get her that she had eaten some. They sent us home with all the same original medication and added an appetite stimulant, appetite stimulating canned food, and a steroid. My cat is alive, she is now behaving as she used to! She is playing, eating, using the litterbox regularly, following us around, no longer hiding! She is almost fully done with her prescribed medications and I am hooking her up with a primary vet so we can continue to monitor the diseases she had been diagnosed with but PAW Health accurately diagnosed, medicated, and helped push me in the right direction as far as decisions regarding my cat as I can now say my gut instinct was wrong and they saved my cat and returned my baby to me. Obviously the prices are steep but but this is a 24/hr emergency veterinarian service clinic.

All though I hate to have to give 5 stars for the reason we had to go but it’s definitely needed. Our pup passed away at the foot of our bed over night. We noticed her at 3:30AM. Not really knowing what to do we reached out to PAW Health Network. They helped us determine what to do and offered all the condolences they could offer. The experience we had choosing her last wishes were stellar. Thank you to the team for helping us!

Staff were very friendly and seemed to do a good job of triaging all incoming patients. I loved that they gave you updates every couple of minutes so you knew where we were on the wait list and what the next steps were. Staff were also very informative - they seemed to know their stuff. We felt taken care of which was so nice on a very stressful day when my fur baby was sick.

Our dog was very sick with an infection in her jaw. It was a very strange case because there were no abscesses in her mouth and she had good dental hygiene. She was extremely sick and unable to eat or drink. I had taken her to the vet but she was cleared as healthy unfortunately. Two weeks after Brown saliva started to ooze from her mouth and she was unable to walk very much. She is a very high energy dog but she became extremely lethargic and unable to pant, eat or drink. This scared us. We had to rush her to paw clinic. I think the reason why Paw clinic gets some bad reviews is because people don't understand how their system works. I think that they have to prioritize the most severe cases each day and try to save lives. Can you imagine how hard this must be, to pick one over another? Also they are one of the only emergency vet clinics in the area so they get bombarded with patients. They have to do this. That is also really hard. I think as an owner this can be difficult to understand but I think you have to trust the process... After a couple hours they were able to see my dog and gave her antibiotics. They listened to us and made sure that they covered all angles. They were extremely thorough. Within a couple days our dog completely turned around and started being her happy self again. Thank you paw clinic. We have our little Lani back.

Was referred here after seeing our regular ver with no answers from her. As soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed and knew my pup was in great hands. Very empathetic and understanding of her situation. After diagnosing my beautiful girl, we decided the best decision was euthanasia. This was the first time we had gone through something like this and I couldn’t have been more grateful for the staff of this hospital. They made sure my girl was comfortable until the last minute. They were all so comforting and understanding. I am devastated it ended that way but grateful for the staff for helping me through this awful time.

Thank you could never be big enough for how grateful we are that Paw Health was able to help our dog. We had to travel from 3 hours away in order to get our pet seen due to having no where else to bring her. They were kind, friendly, understand and attentive to all our questions and concerns. I highly recommend if you are in urgent medical need for your pet to choose Paw Health.

A tumor on my dog’s elbow burst and we weren’t able to control the bleeding. We called ahead and then made the hour and a half drive. Staff took him back immediately and were very understanding of him being reactive towards other dogs. It was a very busy day and there were a few other emergencies before us but staff was excellent at communicating to me and others in the waiting room about their pets. It took a while for my dog to be seen but I was able to visit with him during the wait. He needed a small surgery to remove the tumor but he was back out to us quickly after. Staff was very kind and loving to my dog. Every staff member I met had something kind to say about Tank. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. It was a stressful and scary day for us but the care and kindness we received made it so much easier. Thank you Paw Health Network!

I can't say enough nice things about PAW Health Network. My great dane was showing signs of bloat and i took him in on a Sunday night at 9pm. They assessed him immediately (like they do with all animals that come in) and placed him at the top of the list to give him life saving gvd surgery. From the very friendly receptionist to the vet assistance and doctors everyone was compassionate, honest, and transparent.Do not let the negative reviews scare you, but know this is a triage based clinic which the staff make very clear from the moment you call. I actually really appreciated the signage stating their policy that they won't tolerate rude customers or ill mannered animals it shows they care about how their employees are treated and it takes nothing to be a kind human being even if your in a stressful situation. I truly belive most of the negative reviews are people just not asking the staff the right questions. Animals in triage are monitored and reassessed every hour and moved on the priority list accordingly. They are NOT just letting your in alone to suffer like some are claiming.
Thank you PAW Health

Our 8 year lab had reoccurring diaharra and some puking. We were having to jump thru circles to get him to eat. He was loosing weight and low energy. The vets at PAW were able to diagnose the issue and provide needed meds/ prescription. They caught something the our local vet had missed for years. Rufus is back to himself and even better. We really can't thank PAW enough. Yes, you have to wait and it's probably more expensive then your local vet but so worth it based on improvement we see in Rufus. THANK YOU!

Vet here was amazingly kind and thorough. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Wait time was not bad at all compared to others I've been to. Well worth the long drive. I will return here without hesitation in an emergency again.

My cat got a bad tummy while traveling, on a Sunday. I took him here and they were amazing! I have had some not so good experiences with emergency pet care so I was skeptical. They went above and beyond excellent care. They explain EVERYTHING! They give you all of your options without any pressure. They just want you to be able to make an informed decision. They were completely transparent right down to what it would cost. The location was very professional and clean. I had a little bit of a wait, but even that was done well. They sent me text updates and I could all at anytime if i needed to or was worried. They seem to really love pets and thier owners. I wish we had one near me.

Honestly such great staff there. I was there for a while but I can't complain because there were more critical animals than mine that came in. I appreciate all the staff has done and will continue to do. They helped my baby Squishy and I will continue to recommend this place and take my other babies there!😊

I just picked up our dog from PAWS today after bringing him there three days ago. He had severe pancreatitis. They saved our baby's life and we're grateful. I see in the reviews people are complaining about wait times but if your pet was literally dying, would you want them to be set aside just because other pets were brought there first? They have to prioritize their patients just like ERs do for humans. The communication you get from the staff, from the receptionist to the doctors, is amazing! They constantly kept me updated and even called me twice per day. I wouldn't hesitate to bring any of my pets there again but I hope I never have to.

I honestly cannot say enough about this place and their awesome staff! My male cat had a urinary obstruction and I called literally every vet and emergency vet close to our area as we boarder Wisconsin and Michigan and after being told no from every single one of them as we where not already a patient with them and they were to busy to help I finally got the number for them and they did not hesitate to said yes as they realized how dangerous this was for him not having gone to the bathroom for over 24 hours. We drove 3 hours for them to look at him and take care of him and the staff and doctors explained everything to us from the second we walked in until leaving. The made sure everything was ok every step of the way informing us how much everything was and getting the ok to proceed with the surgery. They also called us once the surgery was done and explained exactly what they did the whole time and how everything went. I am highly impressed by this staff and doctors for there abilities and the love and compassion for the animals and the owners of them! Without them my cat would not have made it until Monday to see our normal vet and I literally owe this staff and doctors so much for saving my sweet baby!

We took our 13 week old puppy to Paw Health Network this morning with a leg injury. We prepared ourselves to be patient as it was a Saturday morning. We couldn’t have been more pleased with her care. Yes we were there several hours as it is an ER and they triage according to needs, which is totally understandable. They were thorough and professional. Thank you!

After our dog Finnegan was so ill for a few days then began having explosive blood all over the house, it was the weekend and I didn't want to take somewhere pets are left alone all night or on weekends. I took him here in which from the moment we got there he was treated so well from staff and the Vet. I was able to go see him a few times a day and when the Vet came to get him from the visiting room the one time he stood up as ill as he was , tail wagging and happy to see her and went to her . That said it all for me right there. I was happy he was in a place there is staff on and a Vet all hours of the day and night right there , no waking anybody up no time wasted if he started to distress ect and he got lots of pets on a regular basis.
Thank you for the care you all gave him , for a pet to be able to see their owner when they hurt and are ill, and so scared it s so important to the healing and for their soul. Thank you .
He is home and doing well, following me everywhere and being himself, and eating more and more each day. Thank you for saving him ❤ in return you saved us as well .

Have had great experiences everything we have been there! Waiting is always hard, but that's just life in the ER we deal with it as humans too!
