My Great Grandparents lived in Muleshoe. So I've been taking pictures with the Mule since I was a little girl. What fun it is to continue this tradition with my children. The visitor center was also a nice refreshing stop.

My husband was actually born in Muleshoe - many years ago - so we decided to stop. The memorial is not fancy but it is a nice tribute for the town. Not sure I would go out of my way to see it, but it was fun for him to reconnect with his birthplace.

We have driven by this place many times on our journeys but ne er noticed we were missing this little interesting gem. We worth a stop.
