Lakeview Camping Resort

My wife and I brought our 10 month old son out here for his first camping trip. The residents and owner were probably some of the friendliest people we've come across in a while. Not only was a boat made available for my wife and I free of charge, the owner supplied all firewood, and a large trashcan. Absolutely a great, family friendly place. Set up camp about 40 ft from the edge of the water, wasn't bothered by bugs or animals almost at all. Can't wait to come back!! Thank you for all you're help sir, and your service to our country. Hooah!

This place is a FABULOUS GEM in a rustic setting with amazing hospitality and beautiful scenery of Lake O the Pines. They have all the amenities and accommodations you may need. There is awesome fishing and phenomenal bird watching. This place is hands down the best place my husband and I have ever visited. If you play an instrument, you may choose to participate in some 'pickin' with some really cool cats!!! If not, sit with the rest of us and sing along!!!

A nice get away, far enough from the world and close enough to still go to a restaurant. I looked at the review where the person gave a one? The owner of the property isn't a landlord, so I am not sure where his comments come from. Perhaps it was another life? But I can say this nice little cabin with all the amenities. Bath house available. Gives LEO/Military discounts. Owner is very personable and is "The salt of the earth" Very stand up guy who loves to share his knowledge. Fishing available, as well as other outdoor activities. I enjoyed walking the property. I will be staying again.

Great hide away! Private, secluded, totally awesome. Great owners, have to see to appreciate. Can't wait to get back. No worries, I will have the most peaceful weekend getaway.

Stayed for the weekend to do some hunting around the lake. Great friendly people they play live music on Saturday just for fun recommend if you want to be out of the big city life and enjoy a great place in the woods

Quiet and relaxing with hiking trails and fishing. Live bluegrass style music around a large fire ring most friday nights with enough space for social distancing.

Great place off the main road quiet with good people, live music, but the road is a little slow

Great camping sites, not too busy and very quiet place to get away from the city noise.

Great place to take the family! We had such a good time. Jerry and his wife were very nice and hospitable. Camp grounds were clean and everything worked well. The lake was beautiful! At night they made a huge camp fire and played music. So much fun! We will definitely go back.

Awesome hospitality, owners are very friendly and clean wash/rrm area and cool place to explore and kick back...most awesome bonfires and good music along with it😁
