I love this store! The employees are friendly and helpful, unlike Food Giant, where the service is nil and employees are very rude and hateful. At Sun Stop, if you have a question or need help, the employees will go away from what they're doing to ensure that YOUR needs are met! Prices are as reasonable as they can be. I don't like that they had to mark up the "88 cent" aisle, but with the way things are going on with the outside world, they have to do what they can to stay competitive.

NOTE: I was 33 cents shy to pay my bill. The cashier took it upon herself to put the change in, although I offered to go to my vehicle to get the change needed to fulfill my transaction. God bless those employees like her!! (I wish I would have gotten her name, but it was closing time.) Thank goodness Abbeville has more than one grocery store.

Very nice place, everything is stocked well and easy to find. The staff is helpful for the most part I would recommend anyone to stop for gas, snacks drinks food etc. everything was good I will be back next time I’m in town

Staff is very friendly. It's get that mom and pop feel. Great place to stop on the way to the lake. Worth going out of the way to get to. The meat and produce is always fresh.
