Beach House Restaurant on Deer Lake

As a photographer, I must say that the grounds of this restaurant are extremely photogenic! The lawn overlooking the water, the green ivy on the buildings, and all the well manicured nooks to shoot in. The couple I photographed did an intimate ceremony on on the lawn then finished with dinner at the restaurant.

Excellent Wagyu beef burger and Walleye. Our server was knowledgeable of their menu and gave good information. We sat outside, which is lale frontage, and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. Overall the food was great but very pricy.

As a condo owner nearby, I love the location of Beach House at Deer Lake. The server was friendly and helpful. When I ask about fish, I always want to know where it is sourced from. The waiter went and asked for me. I appreciate that. And the chef knows how to cook it correctly. Another plus. Fresh Walleye doesn't get any better.
The accoutrements with the fish were a medley of squash lightly steamed. Very delicious. And my friend has some farro with a vegetable relish. Also, tastefully prepared and yummy.
We sat outside and can see Deer Lake and sunsets, here, are stunning. Great ambience.
And in Thursday evening, Steve August tinkles the ivories with an eclectic array of virtuosity spanning the composers of France: Debussy to America, with jazz.

Tasty menu options. We really enjoyed the White fish & the Perch. Sat outside on patio & watched kids playing on lawn as well as people swimming in Deer Lake. Great location to catch a sunset.

Family went to visit during the 4th of July holiday and ordered some food to go to eat on the lake and enjoy the views. The food was delicious and portions were good. If you are in this neck of the woods, I'd highly recommend dining here.

This is such a great beach on Deer Lake! The water is a nice temp and is shallow (about knee high) for quite a ways out. We had fun looking for shells and cool rocks. There was an outdoor wedding happening while we were at the beach which was super cute. The guys working the Tiki Bar were very kind. We will definitely have to check out the restaurant next time we’re in the area!

Beach House was awesome! We enjoyed an outside patio lunch with delicious food, fabulous view and great service! We enjoyed the beach while there on two separate times.

Lunch was great, the staff was excellent. Highly recommend the scallops and morel pizza.

Blackened tuna appetizer, lake perch w/ lemon caper sauce, & raspberry sorbet dessert were amazing! The outdoor setting was gorgeous overlooking a beautiful lake & setting sun, and the weather was Michigan perfect! The type of evening & meal memories are made of!

We stopped by to enjoy a lunch on the beach at Deer Lake. Had one of the best burgers I've had in a while and certainly on my top 5 list. The combination of rib and brisket made for a great food experience. The fries are also tasty and well worth the upcharge. What put the whole experience over the top was our server Marissa. She made us remember why it is so great to be eating out again. She was professional in her knowledge yet made it feel like we were years long friends. May the force be with you Marissa.:-).

The Tiki Bar at the Beach House Restaurant is great. Drinks & charcuterie tray top notch.

Great food, live music on the patio, overall great experience. Would recommend!

SOOOOOOO good. My father brought me here last weekend for a birthday brunch. It was completely lovely. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was challenging and exciting to the palette, but not overly so. Pork belly, lamb lollipops, calamari, short ribs, watermelon salads...so much to choose from. The vegetarian option was actually an option (in fact, even as a carnivore, I considered ordering it myself). Dessert was divine (we ordered 1 then 2 more for the table). All this, and a gorgeous lake view. I cannot speak more highly of this place. I look forward to my next visit which will be very soon.

Really beautiful patio and terrific dinner experience. A great place to enjoy in summer. Our kiddo loved playing on the beach only 50ft away.

All 6 of our party of 7 had the perch sandwich and loved it. The bun was fresh and perch was cooked to perfection. We would recommend. We ate outside on a warm afternoon and waiter kept our water glasses filled.

This set my new standard for Beach shacks. Great food from the restaurant just a few steps away. Kids loved their chicken tenders served in a beach pail. All the grownups enjoyed their sandwiches. Yummy drinks. Tables and chairs provided right along the beach. Clean bathrooms and showers.

Service and food are phenomenal! Walleye is always perfect. Its lightly breaded with almond breading. We wanted to sit outside but it started raining. Very beautiful place.
