Moved to Montcalm County from Clinton County. I'm very impressed with MCRC, they do a great job keeping our roads safe and prepared. Usually people just complain but I have no complaints and only praise for this department. Roads around me are well maintained and when it needs plowing or fixing, its done promptly and efficiently. Thanks for ALL you guys do everyday! God Bless

The guys at MCRC works very hard to keep our roads safe. They work endless hours for all of our safety.
I thank each and every one of them who gave up family time during Christmas to work on our roads.
The tree work on McBride Road between Vickeryville and Pine Grove Road looks awesome. Thank you !!

I called them yesterday and told them the water has created a big gully at the end of the driveway, they were out here bright & early this morning! About 6 AM! They did a fantastic job!!!! Now I don't have to climb up to my mailbox! It was getting deep too! Someone could have broken their ankle out there! Thanks so much! You guys rock! ( Like in gravel!) LOL!!!

MCRC workers are the best. Our road gets so bad and they are constantly on top of keeping it graded. You're the BEST!!!!!!

They are nice and fast loading. Beware only one truck at a time. They are doing the best they can considering their real building burnt down. Had no issues here!

I so appreciate the relining of the yellow lines on my section of the roads recently, making them much more visible and safe, especially with two 90 degree curves in close proximity. I am hoping for the white lines to get done before winter (from Kickland to Sidney-County Line Road).

They do a good job keeping the roads cleared

Thank you for plowing during this storm warning. I appreciate all that you do.

They suck. They don't keep the roads cleared like they should. They throw chuncks of ice and snow in front of mailboxes and driveways. I haven’t been able to get any mail for a week, because the mailman can't get to my mailbox and I can't shovel the chuncks of ice away from it.

You put new pavement on Town Hall Rd south of 57 using Town Hall Rd north of 57 for your trucks. Totally destroyed the already bad road. Your temporary fix jobs fail faster than you can imagine..

During the heavy snow fall we had last night and this morning you’d think they would have started early. Especially sense we’ve had a pretty light winter so far. Not everyone gets weekends off. At 630am 01/18/2020 with 6 inches of snow fallen M57 hadn’t been touched not once! Still at 2:50pm now, industrial Dr and all side roads where all the factories are have not been touched!!! What am I paying taxes for!? It never fails. Every year.

Could someone tell me when the plow trucks are going to start plowing the roads they are horrible

I'd give negative stars if that were an option. They are horrible at maintaining the gravel roads. The truck graders cut the road and have created curbed shoulders over the years leaving know way the water can drain off creating a sloppy, rutted bumpy mess.

Highly irritating to have them strip/cut the road and leave bumps all up and down a 3 milks stretch and when you call they say “I have no idea when that will be done, the contractor just calls us” well it’s not your vehicle your damaging so I’m sure you don’t care.. but the rest of us do!

Job interviewer: “Can you drive a plow truck 65 mph down a back road?”

Interviewee: “Sure thing!”

Job interviewer: “Great! You’re hired!”

They fail to anything on the secondary roads all summer long then during the winter the roads are impassable to go down. Time for the county to be liable for the damages to my vehicle.

Why would the road commission not plow a road but put salt down
