West Side Cafe

It's a great, little, hole-in-the-wall diner. The food was great, and the coffee was strong. I recommend the pancakes and the hungry man platter.

I used to eat here 24 years ago wow I feel old . I worked at the Hilton reservation center across the way. They had the BEST crispy chicken salad I still think about it from time to time no lie !! Crazy the menue seems to be the same and the prices ! Everything is so cheap . I want to drive to Streator just to eat here . I remember the chicken strips being so good !

Just had the meatloaf special, mashed potatoes, , salad, bread, vegetable medley and custard pie. Absolutely delicious. The best ever!

Service with a smile thats how all emoyees should be, and the food is very good. I personally love their curly fries with just about every burger. And prices are pretty reasonable.

Ladies are awesome who work here and the food is excellent, definitely coming back for some pie!!!!

Great service, food was exceptional, waitress had a great clivage, definitely going back. Waitress was also professional and took care of us well. Not coming back around to much or to little. Always there when you needed her. Again great food and the service was nice to see. Going back.

I've only eaten lunch/dinner here once and the burger was decent. I go often for breakfast and the breakfast is great. There is usually only one cook and one waitress there, and the service is good. My favorite breakfast item is the bagel sandwich with eggs and bacon, all items cooked how you like them. The prices are reasonable.

Great Mom& Pop diner! Great food, in fact the crispy chicken salad is my favorite, but I can only order the half, cause the full is BIG! No tiny salad there! Yum!

Had burger and fries for quick lunch. Was fantastic. Great food for the price. Good service. Definitely will return when we get back into town.

Westside has been my favorite café since 2004, the owners know "if it's not broke, don't fix it" they are always consistent, courtesy, with a warm smile coming along side that reuben on a pretzel roll! The cozy restaurant give you the feel of dining at home, some may think them not having so many tables is a downfall, I believe it is great PRO so you're not forgotten amongst the sea of restaurants goers. I've tried nearly everything on their menu from breakfast to lunch I haven't been disappointed yet! Also their homemade pies are to die for!!

Great little old fashioned diner. Only open until 2 PM. Try their cheeseburger on a pretzel roll.
