Taco Boy Restaurant

Got the Super Wet Burrito and it was really good. This was my first time ever going, and I will definitely go again if I'm passing through. 🙂 Staff was nice and our food came super quick. Like 4 minutes quick! They had so many menu items, it was hard to choose. I asked my friend what he recommends, and he said everything lol.

I've loved this place from day 1 but have only just ordered family dinner. The order was lost as I ordered online. So when I went to get food it was never started. Not store's fault it just got lost some how but because it got lost it was like 20 minutes to closing time so order I'm assuming just got thrown together. Did not get any of the extras that we ordered on food and the food itself just tasted like it had no flavor.
We will give them another try but we have decided that next time we will go inside and eat.

Staff always makes you feel at home. Even the cooking staff comes out and asks if everything is ok. Great staff and clean eating area and restrooms also. We try to stop every time we visit Mt pleasant.

We live in Grand rapids, my fiance is from Mt Pleasant. Every single time we come into town Taco Boy is a must. It's usually the very first place we stop. I haven't tried much on their menu, but I do know that the tacos are perfection and the hot sauce pairs perfectly with it!

Year's ago, my wife and I went to the Grand Rapids Mi location. The Wet Burrito we ordered was second to none. It rivaled the famous, "Beltline Burrito", but at nearly half the price.
So, as fate would have it, 10yrs later we moved near Mt Pleasant Mi, and noticed their other location while grocery shopping. We swooped in for chow and not surprisingly, was again second to none, and prices just as affordable.
This time though, a very friendly employee, "Kyra", (hope I spelled it correctly), was tidying up the dining room. We told her how impressed we were with the food and prices.
She then, in a very polite and professional manner, brought out the owner, and 2 little samples of some food we hadnt tried yet.
What a dining experience, and as redundantly as this will sound, "SECOND TO NONE!!" We will be back!

My absolute favorite restaurant in the state of Michigan their food is always fresh and delicious whenever I'm in Mount Pleasant I have to bring back burritos for all of my friends throughout the state you are known as the best representation of great Mexican products at a very reasonable price and Jen the manager is the best and Bob you are awesome also a family-run restaurant for over 50 years hats off to you and your success

Best all meat wet burrito anywhere. Also really like their taco meat dry burrito. Been eating at the store in Grand Rapids since 1978

Omg, you get so much delicious fresh food with your order. Stop doing the bell and get some phenomenal Mexican food!!!!

This place is amazing! The food is always great and the people are super nice every time. They even have lots of gluten-free options . A great place to go if you want good food.

Just look at this wet burrito. Yum! And I enjoy drinking the pop out of the glass bottle. Fast fast service and a nice environment. They have specials every day of the week!

Great prices, service was quick and the folks working there were nice. The food was very tasty. I recommend the "Wet Burrito " but the "Tamale plate" was good too.

Great food and great atmosphere. The employees are attentive and on your order as soon as it's placed. Impeccable service along with being very affordable and locally sourced makes this a place I will stop every time I am nearby.

Had to try the super wet burritos today as they were the special. Always loved them but today they were different. They recently changed owners so not sure what's up? Tasted different, not enough sauce. Hoping it's just new owner jitters and working things out. Will give them another chance to see if things change. Hoping to see more sauce on that plate!!! Not enough makes the burrito pretty dry!

I practically lived on this place when I was in college 20 years ago. Good to see its still around, even if it's in a new location.

Very good food and good prices. Definitely will be back.

Smells were delicious as we walked in. Very reasonable and friendly.

My fiance and I have eaten at Taco Boy literally our whole lives as we are both in our 40's so that's saying a lot! The location has changed a few times but both Bob Balterez Sr. (May he rest in peace 🙏) and his son Bob Jr. The current owner/Operator have continued to serve our community with the most delicious homemade Mexican food at very affordable prices for as long as I can remember. The food is absolutely delicious; the service is always fast and friendly, as I cannot recommend Taco Boy enough! If you want authentic delicious Mexican food at prices you can afford you MUST TRY ANYTHING ON THEIR MENU!! Home of the Super Wet Burrito you can't go wrong!!! Great Job Bob and crew!!

Used to get Mini Wet Burritos here 40 years ago. Recently had a chance to have one again and they exactly like I remember. Delicious!

Friends PLEASE DISREGARD Alan Martinez's very RUDE review about his food being "moldy" it's a complete lie......he was intoxicated and being very obnoxious and disrespectful to the cashier to start out with.....i personally was there when he was a customer and I was appalled at his behavior. He was politely asked to lower his voice and speak respectfully to which he said right out loud "I'm going on your review page and I'm gonna run your name through the dirt" So I've been watching for his review to stick up for taco Boy because Alan Martinez is a liar. I grew up eating taco Boy since I was a little girl. My mother was a single mom and she worked for Bob Sr. & Bob Jr. For many years. Bob Sr. Was like family, he treated his employees and customers like one big happy familia'. The quality of food has always been superb and the friendly customer service always puts a smile on my face. I highly recommend Taco Boy to any and all who enjoy Mexican food. You simply won't find another place that even comes close to his delicious family recipes!! Thank you Taco Boy for your wonderful service and delicious food! You are appreciated!!
