Lookout Lodge

We came here for a department Christmas party and the lodge is cozy. It has a great view and the fireplace and windows are stunning. It's a cute little place and would be great for small get togethers and gatherings.

Pretty organize! Rented the gazebo. The guest was able to use the public restroom versus the porter potty. That was a plus. The bathroom was clean. The Ranger/ workers was on top of the curfew( time frame ). That was a plus

I really really like lookout lodge. lookout lodge makes me feel like I'm really down with nature and chillin with earth. dirt under my feet and birds above my head. dogs in the grass, ducks in the watershed. I like to eat cat tails, I like to swim with swans, I like to run through the fields, dont stop me I'm a prawn.

Awesome place to stay focused and even better location of finding joy in things that were once lost by the glance of natures landscape.

Great intimate venue. If you're looking for a small wedding location. I had mine here a few years ago. Ceremony on the deck and reception inside. Room for a decent amount of people. Great space for a buffet, cake, DJ and other needed tables. Watch out when tossing up the bouquet, mine hit the ceiling...oops!

Hosted a wedding shower with about 50 guests. There was plenty of room. They have a nice kitchen area with plenty of room for the food to be prepped and put out. There is a fireplace that adds a quaint touch.

My only complaint is it's a bit of a walk to the parking lot.

This is a beautiful place. It holds 200 people, and was perfect for small wedding. It's snowed like crazy, but the Waterford Oaks staff did a great job keeping the walks in parking lot cleared.

Great location for a Big group.
Can fit 40, 50 or 60 people, huge kitchen long countertop, Separate from seating area, wonderful outdoor balcony.
You have to bring in everything except the tables and Chairs.

Great area to walk your dog

Nice place for family or group meetings. I was there for a training session. Well kept up. Clean restrooms, although one faucet in the men's bathroom was not working.

Great for dog lovers. Take your favorite good buddy for a nice walk. Beautiful scenic out door day.

It's the perfect venue for any celebration! The Oakland County Parks staff are extremely helpful and accommodating!

Great peaceful place to walk or to eat your lunch 😉 Also a nice little place to hold meetings or other gatherings in the building.

Very Nice place to go with family and friends until the HOODRATS start finding out its there and so nice!!! Then I will never be back!!!!

Nice place to have a shower or small party, very clean nice scenery.

This facility is perfect for family events like birthday parties and showers.

Nice place to take the dog for a walk on a cold winters day.

Awesome place but watch out for the nuggets on the trail.

Best place to hang out with family and friends. Especially in the era of COVID
