Anchor Down Family Restaurant

Went here with a friend that is from the area. Got breakfast. Everything came up fast and fresh. Waiting was very nice. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was very good. Cool place. Neat decor! Sorry, I forgot to take pics of the meal. It came up fast and I was hungry.

Update, went back the next day. Added photos of food. Great prices. Awesome food. Great staff.

We stopped at this atmospheric restaurant for lunch while traveling through town after a trip to Door County. Nice rustic ship decor, wonderful service, and delicious food! The ship theme is creatively woven into every aspect of this restaurant, from the wall hangings to the menu food titles such as Captain's Special, First Mate's Meal, Deckhand's Choice, and The Land Ho! It was obvious that locals eat here regularly. We will stop again when traveling through!

Really enjoyed my meal at Kunkel's Korner Restaurant yesterday! The place is in an old downtown building with a neat, rustic atmosphere. Food was ready in 5 minutes, tasted delicious! Not expensive, either, and my waiter was very nice. Five stars all the way!

Winter hours vary see photo. Very nice waitress. Has that old west rustic feel but very clean. Ice water good . Coffee not too strong not weak I enjoyed it by itself . Only $1.99 not bad usually the drinks gauge you. Friendly folks . Hints of the innocence of yester years and here are some photos and menu. They have morning special for only $5. A must see and enjoy a little slice of heaven. Will definitely be returning for their perch fry n Friday night! Yummy

In town for a wedding last weekend- our family of 4 ate here for lunch. Food was AMAZING!! My kids ordered the large burger...it was massive with a bakery bun just as big! I had a stack of pancakes that were not only big enough to take home for the next morning- but they were the best pancakes I've ever had in a restaurant! My husband's food was great as well! Service was super friendly and fast... great atmosphere in the restaurant! Will definitely be back if ever back in the area!!

This place made me feel like I'd grown up there. Down home, good eating. Not fancy, but friendly. Will do it again when I get back that way.

First time there since new owners 1 waitress but she was great very busy she did an amazing job food was excellent

Had lunch,fettuccini alfredo with shrimp for $10 larger portion,wife had bowl of soup,grandson had chicken tenders with the 3 drinks totaled under $20.All food was excellent.

This was the first time I've ever been here. I was surprised by the antique decor with many interesting things to look at. The wood timbers and old fashioned feel was a pleasant setting. We were seated immediately and both ordered the shrimp plate. Salad, fries and perfectly cooked shrimp was a great deal for $7.99. Many other sides were available to choose from. Staff was friendly and very efficient. This was a cute place to eat!

This is a great spot. I went in for lunch breakfast while wprking in Kewaunee, and I was never disappointed. The staff was nice, the atmosphere was warm, and the food was great. I would stop in again anytime I'm in the area.

Had great customer service.
The food was amazing. My lady had the loaded hash browns. I had the western omelette and biscuits and gravy. I would have taken a picture, but it was gone pretty quick. Yes, I even surprised myself. I definitely need a nap afterwards lol
We will definitely be back.

We had LIVER AND ONIONS...the best. It is something I don't cook at home.
My dining partner had gravy, I didn't. I asked for extra cooked onions and was not disappointed!
Plate lunch will last us all day.

I order and I bet my food was at my table within 5 minutes. Tasted great. Just randomly saw the restaurant as I was passing through and stopped in.

We visited Kewaunee a year ago and enjoyed it so much we returned. This is one of our favorite restaurants here. Fish was the Friday night special. I had the baked cod. The portion was large, delicious, and reasonably priced. I also stopped by on another day for lunch and had the traditional wings which were delicious. I asked for my sauce on the side, and their sauce was extremely flavorful.
