Thank you Roy for coming out this morning (12/27) to fix our furnace which went out on Sunday (Christmas Eve). When we couldn’t get it to work, it was nice to know you were able to get it going. It’s been working great and our dog really seemed to like you, thanks for being so nice to her. My Dad was right to recommend John Filbrandt Plumbing & Heating. Called for help on Tuesday, late afternoon (12/26) and received help by 8am (12/27).

In town for a wedding, house full of folks with more coming in. Shower and sink are backed up. Called for assistance and they had one of their guys here in about 15 minutes. Old historic home with plumbing to match. They were able clear the clog and perform some other minor repairs. Took about an hour and half and cost half of what Rotor Rooter cost me back home. Great friendly service. If I lived here, this would be my go to company for plumbing services.

We have had this company install & maintain a boiler, a tankless water heater, central air, & repair a variety of plumbing issues & found them efficient, courteous & prompt. When we moved in here, we contacted 5 local plumbing/heating companies & John was the only one to bother to call back...

Hands down best company i have ever worked with!! The customer service was impeccable and everything was done in a timely manner! They truly care. Costomer for life!

Now these are the guys to call with any issues you have with plumbing or heating.. I have called them in the past and they are fast and very friendly and their prices are very reasonable.. Got problems ?? Give them a call !!

We called on a Friday afternoon for a problem with a shower. They came right over and fixed it. Great Service!!!

I was having issues with my water having a lot of sediment in the water. I called them for an appointment and was told they would put a ticket in. I was never giving a time or date as to when they could fit me in. Fast forward a couple weeks I never heard from them so I decided to call them back. I spoke with a different person on the phone who did not have any information that I had already called and was told they would put a ticket in for me. I explained my situation again and was told again they would put a ticket in. I once again was never giving a time or date as to when they would come out.

A couple weeks later I get a random call on a week day that they can fit me in that day. Lucky for me I was off that day so it worked out. The plumber came over and took a look at what my system was. He was nice and professional. I informed him I know nothing about plumbing and even less about well water coming from city living.

I explained I looked online and talked to a neighbor who said a spin down filter solved their problem. I have no idea if it would solve mine. The plumber installed a spin down filter and told me he wasn't sure that would even be enough. Before installing I asked what the cost would be to have the filter put in. He could not give me a price.

I got my bill and it was $327. From my understanding this is a common price range for a plumber to come out. My issue is that the issue is not fixed, a water sample was never obtained like I was told they could do, and now I'm out $300 with the same issue I had before they came out.

I have a dates system and understand they did what they could but I was giving very little information as to what the issue might be or how to find out. I wish the filter worked better...or at all to solve my problem but such is life. My biggest issue is the time it took for someone to come out and their lack of setting up an appointment when you call. Having to call multiple times before getting someone to put a ticket in is also not great customer service. I do appreciate they answer the phone when you call compared to so many other places in the area who don't but their scheduling could use some work.

I spoke with Joe Filbrandt a month ago and asked if he would be available to complete some work in mid-June if needed as we had a some foundation work being completed to convert our cabins to year round and were unsure if the water lines were deep enough. He said he would be able. As mid-June arrived he was unresponsive by email or phone. I had given up hope and lined up another plumber, then my contractor alerts me last week that Joe showed up to the worksite to determine what was needed to do the job, so I cancelled the second plumber. Flash forward to this week, I call and email the company with no response. Finally I hear back last night that he can't do the job a week before it needs to be completed. Very disappointed!
