Crunch Fitness - Deptford

I have absolutely no idea how anyone could give this gym less than 5 stars. The gym is clean, has tons of room, awesome and high end equipment and plenty of parking. I would definitely return here again. Only two cents to add is the staff could be a bit more welcoming.

I stopped at this Crunch while I was traveling and let me tell you. This place is so nice! It was clean, the people were super friendly, and the staff were lifesavers!!!

Upon walking in immediately it passed the eye and vibe check. It smelled fresh and sanitized and the music was a good clean mix.

The people were so cool!! Coming from the south, northerners in general can get a bad wrap. My visit was quite the opposite. People were nice, hospitable, and so fun. It was also fun seeing a group class while I was checking out the facility. People were just in there having a blast. It was just really cool to see.

Finally, the staff. I was greeted by this little ball of energy Jill. She immediately made me feel comfortable and helped me navigate my way through the gym. I found out later she was the manager. Super cool and helpful. The next two staff members, Kate and Matt, are both trainers at this location and if I didn’t live a thousand miles away I’d be there every day working with them. Kate was the MVP and really made an awesome workout for me. She made it fun and challenging but more importantly she supported me the entire session. You need that hype person sometimes and she was definitely it. Matt came in clutch and helped with some limitations I had since he has a background in physical therapy it was super helpful.

If I could give this location 10 stars I would and I highly recommend it to anyone in that area or traveling to the area. Thank you all again for everything!! You made my trip to NJ so much better!!!

This gym is really nice and clean! I switched to this gym from planet fitness about a month ago and Crunch has so much more to offer. The staff is very friendly and informative. Overall a great gym for the low price!

Staff is top notch in my book! They make you feel like family and smile when you walk in. Kate is a fantastic PT she takes the time to work with you and does not rush you through your session, she has broke me out of my shell, gave me confidence and now look forward to going to the gym. Shout out to Kate, Jill, Matt, Shannon and Homes!

Started here recently and so far it’s been a great experience. Kate is my personal trainer and has been very helpful and understanding about my goals to get stronger after medical problems. I hadn’t been to a gym for years, she has helped me feel comfortable and ready to get to it!

Been working out for years but it wasn’t till I started working w/ Rick, one of the personal trainers at Crunch, I felt like I started seeing results. The managers Jill and Carlos were very helpful during my whole sign up process with my membership and personal training.

This gym is clean, has plenty of brand new equipment, a very relaxed atmosphere, and generally isn't crowded, I couldn't ask for anything more besides a sauna.

Best crunch fitness I’ve been to in Jersey! A lot of space in the free weights and turf areas compared to other locations. A lot of cables, machines, and cardio available.

I love It here, the staff is so nice, as well as the members that go. Everyone is willing to help, and the overall vibe is welcoming. Jill picked a great staff, and is always willing to help her clients 🙂

The benefits that this gym offer at this price point is top notch. Highly recommend Kerrie’s Hit class and Pooja’s Zumba class.

Update 11/11/2022. New management has done a great job turning the gym around! The gym is so much more clean and better maintained. Restroom and locker rooms are much more clean than the previous owner had ever kept it. No hassle training and memberships. They were great when i had to temporarily stop my membership and training sessions due to surgery. The process prior to surgery and when i came back were super easy and the staff showed they cared. All of my training sessions were saved for me and i am now using them now with no issues. Carly is the general manager and Alexis is the training manager...they both are amazing and continue to do a great job!
Update 09/25/2022. The new management has been making a much better effort to keep the gym clean. There are now paper towel dispensers and spray bottles at multiple locations throughout the gym. They took down the old hours sign on the door and are getting new hours posted. There is a new trainer manager who is taking charge of trainers and their cleanliness. There is a new phone # as well. Things are getting better everyday.

Love this gym!! Started coming here a couple months after they opened and I really love it! The staff is super nice and friendly, locker room is always clean and so is the gym!! Perfect amount of machienes and not to busy depending on what time you go! The gym is huge open space which I really like and all the people who go there are friendly:) I highly reccomend this gym and the prices are great

I have never seen a more organized and clean gym. I will for sure tell all of my friends about it! They also have 7 squat racks, tons more than edge does.

This gym and crunch location is by far the best in the South Jersey area! Edge, planet and Esporta don’t even compare. The gym is clean, there are multiple squat racks, the staff is courteous and it’s never too crowded. All of the equipment is brand new and there are plenty of machines for everyone to use.There are also tons of classes to take and lots of amenities. Trey, one of the personal trainers, is high energy, motivating and a great asset to crunch. On top of that, the owner, Zack really cares about his members and is such a pleasure to interact with.

When my Zumba instructor told me she would be having classes at a gym, I was hesitant to sign up. My experience with gyms hasn't been favorable. But, I missed Zumba, so I walked into Crunch one day and got a tour and a free pass. It was not what I expected - in a good way! The staff were down to earth, friendly and judgement free. I felt welcomed. There were people of all ages and all fitness levels. I have taken other classes and the instructors are upbeat and varied. It's been a great experience. I'm very glad I joined.

Kate is the best! I love this facility. Truly the best in the area and a wonderful community :)

Loving this Gym 🥰 super clean bathrooms!!! Shower🚿 was clean and very spacious!!! Hydro Massage is Great!!! Overall experience was great they have a 30 minute workout session which I'm going to try next week my overall experience was great I highly recommend this gym!!! So come on down and and experience this great environment🥰

I highly recommend this gym to anyone who may be curious to start their fitness journey as well as to those who have been doing it for a while! This gym is clean, staff is amazing and the equipment is great!

It was great when I went in to join! I can’t remember the young lady that helped me, I think it was Alanna ! She helped me get set up and I can’t wait. To actually go back ! Alexis even called me to make sure to set up a return appointment to do my fitness set up!
