I decided this spring that it was time to update my fishing boat... I love to fish and I wanted to fish bigger water in the years ahead so I figured I would start the search for the newest member of our fishing family. I went to the Minneapolis Boat Show to compare boats and boat dealers and because of the reputation of Ranger Boats and because Todd from Frankie's Marine was so friendly and excited to talk about fishing and share various innovations on the product, I decided that Ranger was the boat for us! Frankie's Marine in Chisago Lakes has been a family owned entity as long as I can remember. I grew up in the area and figured if I was going to be buying a Ranger, that I would definitely be buying from them. We ordered our Ranger 621FS and proceeded to visit the showroom once or twice a week to size up all the accessories we anticipated putting on after delivery. When the boat arrived we had an issue with the wrong fabric on our seats... Todd jumped in and got it taken care of for us, and in less than 10 days Ranger had delivered us brand new seats and they were installed at the shop. We had a few other minor tweaks needed and the service center got us in and out in less than 48 hours. It's strange for me to think that the largest Ranger Boat dealer in the country is the one in the little town I grew up in, but after being an actual customer, I can see why they sell as many boats as they do. A big thanks to the whole team that helped us get into our new dream boat... now I just have to figure out how to actually catch as many fish as this boat makes me "look" like I can! :D.

Stopped in to check for kayak paddles, had them at a great price. I have lived in the area for 20+ years and this was the first time I had ever been there. Great selection and service. Won't be long before we are going back, if you are interested in fishing or have a boat, or just looking for a place to check out in the area, give this place a look.

Such a great place. Always have good quality bait and friendly advice too. Plenty of tackle if you forgot anything. I've heard a wonderful things about their boat sales as well, but I haven't purchased a boat from them yet. The service department is great, fair prices, fixed right the first time.

Great place to get tackle and talk fishing. When I was there last Sunday (before memorial day) the guy working was amazing. After I explained what I was fishing for bass + northern he gave great advice not just what to get but how to use it in this weather and in great very detailed examples and where. It worked I got a very nice bass that night! Thanks dude, sweet place!

Can't thank Frankie's enough they fixed an issue with my Yamaha 225 that two other shops couldn't fix. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, I will definitely be going back.

The owners are very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help out any way they can whether it's tackle and gear or showing you where to catch fish. Reality nice selection of bait. I don't have any personal experience with their marine dept but I have talked to several people that have and all have the same story about great service even after the sale. This place is the #1 Ranger dealership in the US and I understand why. Customized service, a patient sales team (Todd George), and an overall friendly and helpful team. These people are true experts on the Ranger boat line and on everything else you need to be on the water in the Midwest. They provided me with accurate and important information, exactly what we needed to make this big decision. I'm sure the entire sales team is the same but our guy Todd took the needed time to help make sure our family was making the right decision. He did this without ever showing a moment of pressure. Todd's patience with us and his knowledge of the products we were considering made this a great experience. You cannot buy a boat in MN without stopping in to Frankie's Marine. We recently purchased a boat from Frankie’s in Chisago City.
My husband and I had searched all around the Twin Cities with no luck (or customer service), and decided to try Frankie’s. We were immediately welcomed by Frankie himself and were given a great deal with absolutely NO hassle! Any concerns or questions that we had about the boat itself (we bought used) or about financing where answered in a friendly no pressure way. I am a particularly hard to please person when it comes to large purchases and was very happy with the service that we received. We will definitely be coming back here for our next boat purchase.
