Don Pablo's Mexican Family Restaurant

This has been a favorite go to restaurant for years. Last night we dropped in while visiting the area and they did not disappoint. The salsa is fresh and has a good bite with the right amount of cilantro. Prices have gone up every where, but the amount of food served here is too much for one sitting. Our server is visiting from Texas for the summer to help out his family and was very attentive. Food comes to the table hot. Stop by if you get a chance.

What a great dinner. There was no wait, service on point. Our portions were bigger than expected. And the margaritas were a little too good! 😉

Food was excellent! Wife and I shared the molcajete for two for about $35. Staff was friendly, often had two waiters checking on us throughout our visit. Very tentative. We'll go back if in the Fergus Falls area again.

Just like being in Mexico. The staff was GREAT! The decor was incredible. The food was pretty good. The steak for the fajitas was a bit overdone (we were a rather large group), but everything else was good. They even sang to my daughter for her birthday and brought out the huge dessert plate for her. Overall, we'll return.

09/21/2021 was my first time ever going into Don Pablo's, and I definitely recommend eating here. Since it was my first time there, the waiter, Nacho, was very kind and helpful with recommending me an item off of their menu. I chose the Don Pablo's Burrito, with chicken in the burrito (shown below).

Being honest, that was the best burrito that I ever had. The consistency of beans, chicken, and other ingredients in the burrito was perfect for my liking, so complements to the chef. Other than the amazing meal, the atmosphere inside the restaurant really captures Mexican culture.

I will be back at Don Pablo's again soon.

We always love dinners here! The chips were warm and fresh pico was tasty, and we all enjoyed our blended margaritas. Their combination plates are the best way to enjoy a bunch of different options. Plus, service is always friendly and prompt and the decor is very bright and fun!

Great place for dinner. They executed their huge dinner plates well and have huge margaritas and beers. The staff make you feel welcome like family. Family friendly too, my kids love it.

We visited there today for my husbands birthday. Excellent service and the food was not only delicious but piping hot just like we like it. We will always go back there for a wonderful meal and great service great food and great atmosphere!!🤗

Great little spot in a great little downtown. Unassuming from the street, this family owned Mexican joint is bright, clean and lively when you step through the doors.

An impressive menu with variety and affordability.

You'd be at home here for a business lunch, date night, a family dinner, or a large party celebrating. Very accommodating space.

I was in for lunch on a Friday. Chips, salsa and my beverage were on the table before I could get my coat off. Chips were solid, salsa was very mild, ice tea was refreshing and enjoyable.

My meal was the seafood chimichanga lunch special. It came from the kitchen promptly and piping hot. Refried beans, Mexican rice, and all the fixings. Portion was great, chimi was well "stuffed" and crisped to perfection. The flavor was a little underwhelming, not bad, just bland. Adding the Tapatio from the table helped :-)

I'll be back for dinner and the 60 oz margarita challenge ;-)

Amazing customer service. Great kids meal prices and lunch menu. We were so thrilled to find this little gem in our visit to Fergus falls. We will be back and highly recommend to others!

This review will be slightly biased because I've been coming here since they opened... Long before Google contribute lol... A few other Mexican restaurants have tried to open but never last, probably because the locals choose this place. This is an authentic Mexican restaurant, owned by Mexican-Americans, and the food is served as such. I usually despise refried beans... But I love theirs because they're flavorful. They're the only ones I'll eat. The menu here is huge, about 6 pages. They also serve simple non Mexican food (burgers, chicken sandwiches, etc) if a person in your party is not in the mood for Mexican. They serve authentic burritos, enchiladas and complex plates for a little more. Probably my favorite dish here is the camarones mojo de ajo - unique and delicious. They have a great lunch special as well. The atmosphere is wonderful and they have plenty of seating. If you're in the area and seeking authentic Mexican fare, this is your place. You won't be disappointed.

I have always enjoyed Don Pablo's for authentic Mexican foods and they never fail me. I highly recommend Don Pablos.

Woderfule place to eat. People are fabulous and the food is even better. This is a family owned and operated restaurant right in beautiful downtown Fergus Falls. So parking can be a little limited, but you won't mind the walk downtown. So bring the family for dinner, or just stop in for a cold Mexican beer and appetizers at the bar. You'll immediately be greeted with a smile, warm chips and individual salsa bowl.
