Cozad Community Hospital

Just wanted to say Thank You for the excellent care I received during my recent stay, The staff were all friendly courteous and definitely know their stuff and food from the kitchen is great I'm just really impressed with the fact we have such a great hospital in our community, a patient couldn't ask for a more qualified set of nurses I appreciated each and everyone of them. Also the ER staff was very professional and took care of business

ER staff very cordial and professional-Excellent care for wife emergency fall with lacerations to Arm & Head caused by falling while leaving Dairy Queen on cross country trip to Univ of Colorado/Auroa cancer specialists

While I was in this hospital for almost a month, I got great care and everyone was very good and food excellent, caring doctors and nurses

The worst experience I have ever had with a hospital. The staff is entirely dismissive, and doesn’t listen to the patients. I had a nurse refuse to provide me with an IV, during a week long stretch of battling Norovirus and not being able to consume anything. On top of this they also refused to call in a doctor for me due to it being too late. After everything was said and done, none of the employees checked to get the correct address or any information off of me at all for that matter, and sent my bill to the complete wrong address. I will never be going back and wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy.

Terrible experience. The nurse said going to the ER was a waste of resources even though the clinic was not open and doctor did not provide any care. Couldn't even provide a covid test of which there are a surplus of and are free to give out. Of course they still want to bill you for everything. Completely rude staff and I can guarantee they wouldn't want to be treated that way. I don't understand how that doctor is employed there. Please try to make it to anywhere else for care!

If you have a serious health issue, do not stop here. I am an over the road truck driver and stopped at this emergency room in 12/19/2022. I was very weak and had a terrible cough. I was given a COVID test and an influenza test. Influenza A came back positive. No lung x-rays were done and was told I did not have pneumonia. The PA gave me script for teslon pearls and sent out the door. The next day I had to call an ambulance to come pick me up at my truck because I was so weak and could not breath to walk 10 steps. I spent the next week in acute care. I could have lost my life because of this first aid station.

Definitely would never recommend this place, doctors are extremely rude, they never do anything. My fiance has bones deteriorating in his back and we've had x-rays done of it at a different clinic and he had extreme pain today and has been in tears all morning so we took him into the ER but all the doctor called it was a muscle spasm. Then called my fiance a liar.. We tried to calmly explain to him but instead of listening to us gave us attitude and left.

if i could give negative stars and could do more for others from going this hospital i would. completely rude staff and useless doctors. my brother had a terrible accident at work were almost died and they sent him home two days later like nothing no physical therapy or assistances. went to kearney for more test and actually had to make sure he didnt have internal bleeing. please don’t go here!!

Definitely not a place I'd recommend having a baby. My biggest concern, other than the disrespectful way the on call doctor treated us, is the overall safety. My newborn was given a quilt with a needle threaded through it. The nurses are possibly the only good thing about this hospital. Even then, these nurses, who are not CPSTs, took it upon themselves to coach my husband on how to install a carseat incorrectly and didn't check the way my baby was in the carseat itself. I was barely conscious and unable to check myself. Thank god we made it to Gothenburg without an accident.

terrible place, The Doctor was extremely rude and told us it wasn't an emergency even though we new it was. we went from there straight to Kearney ER. Turned out to be a major blood clot and required emergency surgery!!!

Seen here many years ago dr had bad attitude.
