Bourbon barrel stout with oatmilk was amazing! Also loved the cranberry walnut toast and pumpkin muffin. Very popular place!

Great coffee. The owner is insanely knowledgeable and his staff are all polite and trained to the highest standards. It should definitely be your first stop before you explore New Harmony.

This is an amazing little gem in New Harmony. Wonderful coffee, lattes, etc, in a beautiful old structure setting. Alex is a true host, educator and naturalist who doesn't know a stranger.

Coffee is good. Giant homemade muffin was good. Sweetie pie (sweet potato based!) chai latte was good.
They have a few food options, but we’ve never tried them. Several people were eating when we came in though, so for a small place, I’m going to say that’s a good sign.
Outside and inside seating. Cozy feeling but without all the seating being right on top of each other.
Very friendly people, helpful with their menu items.

Being from Seattle, I love checking out the local coffee shops.This place makes a fantastic cup of coffee and tea! Service was excellent as well! Total hidden gem in this small town.

Very cute coffee shop! Alex and his crew make excellent coffee (plus it's roasted in house!). The atmosphere is the perfect balance of quaint, upbeat, and cozy. We sat by the entrance in some very comfortable couches and drank our fantastic coffee. Would highly recommend visiting if your in town!

We visited this little coffee shop in New Harmony. I purchased the Brown Butter and my husband purchased the Bourbon Barrel Stout. Both were very flavorful and smooth. Everyone was very nice. We liked it so much we went back the next day.

A five star coffee lounge in a truly unique corner of America. Been coming here since they converted the shop a few years back, and they have stayed true to the vision of quality ever since. Black Lodge is a jewel!

Black Lodge has the BEST coffee in the state, but that's not even the best part. The owner and a staff treat you like family and they offer a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

AMAZING little coffee house in this small town!!! Ordered Bourbon Barrel Stout Latte to go while I ate a perfectly toasted plain bagel with a spread of absolutely decadent home made strawberry jam & plain cream cheese. Atmosphere matches the service & menu items.

We are always looking for a coffee spot when we travel. We are staying at Harmonie State Park and found this gem. It's about 5-10 minutes from the state park. Small coffee shop next door to the U.S. Post Office (so keep an eye out for the post office), since the sign for the shop is easy to pass. Small menu, but makes it elegant for fine workmanship. We got the Cold Brew, and a surprise latte. Alex, is very friendly. Would recommend it if you are visiting the area.

The staff was beyond kind, very inviting and informative! We even ordered some of the syrups they use because the coffee was just that good! Can't wait to come back again 😊

Great service, drinks, and ambiance. Friendly and helpful with recommendations and a good variety of drinks to choose from. Also has an outdoor patio, as well as indoor seating and space in the basement for small groups. Definitely a recommended visit destination while in New Harmony.

A picture-perfect coffee shop in the prettiest town in the midwest. Run by the friendliest people you could meet, and the coffee is exceptional. It's worth making a detour for!

I enjoyed a black Lodges delicious coffee and cozy atmosphere. The shop itself has a very relaxing vibe. The owners and staff are so very pleasant. I can’t wait to visit again. I recommend the Harmonist, it was absolutely delightful.

I'm here right now eating an egg sandwich and having a cup of black coffee. Both are exceptional. Just as notable is the welcoming atmosphere and sincerely friendly barista. This is an ideal cafe.
