A gem in the middle of farm country,21 miles from 80 turnpike off hwy 4 exit near Sandusky Ohio. Amazing food and service. Stop by for the best homemade home cooked food.

Stopped here for breakfast. I travel Ohio a lot as well as other states. This was pretty much the best breakfast around.
Can wait for a lunch here.

Great, just like a great home cooked meal, very nice selection on the menu. Special menu items throughout the week. Home made pies too. Real nice down home atmosphere.

Always a wonderful meal. Less mayo would be good in the macaroni salad. Add celery and onion. Walleye was tasty. Looks like the pies are homemade. Nice place to eat 20 miles south of 80 tollroad on hwy 4.

I did not have time to stay and eat a meal but... I did want to try some pie (to go) and oh my goodness-- I am SO glad that I did!! It was delicious 😋 I had chosen cherry pie; but they also offer many other tempting flavors from which to chose. I took some to my family and friends and they all loved their pieces too. Next time I am in the area I will stop and eat a meal (if I have time) 😂 My schedule is pretty busy but this place was worth my time for a quick visit. Staff was very friendly also--the place appeared to be cute, warm, and very clean.

The pies are absolutely delicious! Good Philly Steak sandwich and Grilled Hawaiian Chicken sandwich. The staff is very friendly! We will definitely go back again.

Great down home meal's well prepared and moderately priced. Wait staff consisted of 3 high-schoolers who were friendly, prompt and greeted every customer like a friend.
3.5 hours away from my home but every time I am in the area I plan on going back.

Food and service are excellent. Home style scratch cooking at it's best. Great salads too. Waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. The homemade/scratch pies were the best I've had anywhere. Will definitely go back!

Passed by this little restaurant dozens of times, but this was the first time I had the chance to stop. Service was friendly, offered suggestions, and the food came out extremely quick. They are known for their pies and it appeared they had about 10-12 different choices. I had coconut cream and my wife had rhubarb crumble. They did not disappoint! If you get a chance to stop, I highly recommend you do!

I really enjoy the wide variety of meals offered here. They never disappoint. Classic country home cooked meals at a reasonable price. The pies are well worth going out of your way for, the only downside, deciding which one.

Perch was awesome had perch night before in kellys inlands this restaurant perch was so much better try that in small town lol

People were absolutely wonderful. They even told me to call ahead if I wanted something not on the menu (egg salad) and they would let me know if they could make it. Had three pieces of pie and they were in my Top 2 all-time and I'm 50. Fantastic!

So I gave it five stars because there isn't 7!! Amazing, which I know is overused, but wait till you try grandma's food!! If yours was an "amazing" cook... If not, then great home cooked meals, great value... And wait for it... Pie!!! Any choice you could want!!! I'm talking homemade fresh out of the oven gonna drive 50 miles to get it pie!!! You won't be disappointed unless you have zero taste buds.

Best place is the area for homemade pies, breakfast, and dinners. Affordable pricing and great service. Peg the owner will even come out and talk to you occasionally if she isn't too busy making her delicious pies.
