I read the reviews and it's a love or hate proposition. For me, the food hit the mark! I have been to Thailand many times and love the culture, people and of course the food! I understand the comments about the service. My perspective might be unique?, I don't go to a restaurant to hurry through so a quiet place where I can read the news while waiting for a meal cooked to order suits me. I ordered the Thai sausage with sticky rice and a chili dipping sauce, it brought back wonderful memories and was authentic. The lady seemed shy, not rude and she brought me ice water with a smile. The place is beautiful and again brought back wonderful memories. Give it a try for some amazing food and relax if it takes a little time.

This is by far the best Thai food in town, or any place else that I have been in the past when we lived in the Seattle area. Understand that it is authentic Thai food. Their heat ratings are different. I would normally get a three-star at a place back in Seattle, here it would be a half a star. And my wife who likes spicy food also gets half a half star. My daughter's boyfriend, who was the head chef at popular Cambodian restaurant in France, who really likes hot food, actually got a five star, and he really loved the food. He told me he never found a place in the US that ever made food hot enough for him. And he was very impressed. I love their Drunken Noodles, and my wife loves they're yellow curry. I also really like their fried rice, and spring rolls. Emily makes some really great food ! If she ever goes back to Thailand will have to follow her💕🤪😋

In my opinion, this is the best Thai food in the area! It is authentic, fresh, filled with flavor and always tastes great! The owner is amazing and is a hard worker, we have seen her doing everything by herself many times so if you see her running around and you're waiting a little longer for your meal just give her a little break, some props, and know your food is gonna be amazing. She is the only one who has been able to make something too hot for my husband to eat (I guess he shouldn't have challenged her haha.), but still listen to her and take her heat level warning seriously. Thanks for the great food every time we have been in there!

This food is about as authentic as you can get. After realizing the only lady there is literally the only lady there running the shop and cooking, we couldn’t have been more impressed. My boyfriend got to talking to her and learned what part of Thailand she was from, and her family. We learned she made everything on her menu and they are her own recipes. Everything we tried was amazing. The sticky rice came just like it does in Thailand. We had chicken satay as an appetizer with a number 1 spice. And I would suggest nothing higher than a 1! He tried something I don’t know what it was. But I have the picture of it. And I had yellow curry with chicken. So yummy. We already talked about going back to try something different. She was very nice! All these comments saying she isn’t are not nice seeing as how she is doing everything. Seating. Taking orders. Drinks. And cooking up some amazing food!

Food is delicious and spicy. Start low, on a 1 to 5 scale...choose 2. It's spicier then you would think but taste great!

Hidden gem downtown. Oh my gosh, I had never eaten here but this is definitely my go to Thai now. I am in love! The restaurant had a great ambience, felt totally authentic and cozy. The food was DELICIOUS and my curry was a huge portion! I got super full and totally have another meal for tomorrow. Great value. I love spicy food but for sure still make sure to order your spice level lower than your typical tolerance, because the food is extra spicy and yummy. I can’t wait to come back!

Super impressed. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. The service was fantastic even with only one person seemingly serving, and cooking the food.
If you like spicy you should try the 3. If not don't go above 1 on their spice scale (1-5) lowest to highest..

Thai Paradise is one of my favorite restaurants in Pocatello, and has persuaded me into becoming a regular to the restaurant. The food is great along with the restaurant being quite atmospheric. Do expect to have a bit of a wait time to get your food given the restaurant is a one woman show, but the wait isn't bad by any means and well worth it. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating, and if you have some time to spare, this is a fantastic restaurant to visit. Give this hidden gem a try sometime if you have not already :)

The food was the best I have ever had. She processes her own fresh peppers, so they're delicious, but the heat is at least 3 levels higher than most commercial Tai restaurants. Order your food at a 3 or lower and you won't have a problem with the heat!

Best restaurant in Pocatello. The owner is awesome and cooks the best Thai food. I have ate Thai in Oregon, California, Utah and Arizona and this is my favorite place to eat. The location is in Old Town Pocatello in such a cool building.

Probably the most authentic Thai in town, we love the chicken pho, and the Massaman Curry, but we've had most the menu, it's all solid. My only gripe is that it is more expensive than other options, and someone's the service is a little on the slow side, but the owner is working hard so I don't want to take away from the score.

This is a beautiful restaurant, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff was attentive, and not to the point of bothersome. The food was fresh, and pleasing in temperature. As you can see my review is rather clinical to read so far, and That is because the food wasn't exciting.

My girlfriend had Thai drunken noodles, and they were good.

I had phó and the flavor was not what you will expect from phó. I know, it's a Thai joint, not vietnamese, but while phó is a complex flavored dish, it isn't rocket science to make an average decent bowl.

The traditional accompaniments (i.e. Basil, lime, peppers, etc) were already in the bowl when served. Removing half of the phó experience of adding and adjusting to your personal taste.

Further the ingredients were far from traditional varieties. The basil was Genovese (Italian) rather than Thai, much too strong and sharp on flavor. In fact the broth tasted only of Italian basil broth rather than the complex layers of spices one would expect from Thailand.

Everyone expects the meatballs to be of the frozen variety, but these seemed to taste of a smokey Italian meatball. I wanted to attribute the Italian flavor to the basil broth, but I really feel they were Italian meatballs from Costco.

The tendons were hard and could not be chewed, and the other beef was not tender or flavourful.

All in all? Stick to the Thai menu. I'm sure they do that better.

This is my favorite Thai Food in the area. There can be some small wait times, but the restaurant is so cozy and we'll decorated the wait feels very minimal. Food is delicious, and the fiesty (in the best way) owner is friendly on top of very dedicated to every dish she serves. Skip the nasty chain restaurants and give this local gem a try ❤

Our food was delicious! The waitress was just so kind and we even came in on Christmas eve close to 8 o clock. She was even our cook for the night due to the chef not being able to come in. We recommend it to anyone who likes a more authentic thai restaurant!
