Brown's Country Buffet

When I tell you, I left here full as a tick, I mean it. Fried chicken, collard green, the Cole slaw… oh my gosh the Cole slawwww… The gentleman with a red beard was absolutely amazing. He was very tentative to everyone in the room. Brought drinks before we needed, was there waiting with to go cups, just amazing service. We will be joining you again for breakfast in the morning! 10/10

The buffet is less than 13.00 per person, including drink. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! True southern hospitality. The tea is fresh-brewed and delicious. The chicken cacciatore was just the right blend of sweet/sour/spicy/salty. The fried chicken was what you'd expect in any respectable southern restaurant; crispy, juicy, and fabulous. Fresh salad bar, and plenty of desserts. The potatoes were clearly instant, which was the only slight disappointment. Unbelievably great for such a low price, and the staff is so gracious, it's completely worth the experience. When a place is busy at 3:30 on a weekday, and full of longtime regulars, you know it's successful, and for good reason.

I visited Brown's Country Buffet today and it, was, AWESOME. I've eaten here a long time ago, but we had family visiting from California and we had to meet somewhere between Lake City and Gainesville. So Brown's it was. There were 10 of us and they sat us right away, our server was awesome and I forgot her name but she was great and if anyone reads this soon tell her we said so! We had a variety of menu items, from French Toast with bacon or sausage, to different style omelettes, and I had the country fried steak. The entire staff was pleasant, super.on the ball with drink refills, we never needed anything. Everyone raved about the place and yeah what a gem in Alachua!

Very good food. The only problem that I have is that. The price is way to expensive $18 for all you can eat. That is highway robbery. What I’m gonna do is I’m gonna go there and sit there for 4 or 5 hours And watch a movie on my phone and eat and I want to see what they gonna say. It might be spiteful, but I don’t care there are places that are cheaper than that place to eat

True family country buffet. Great price of 11 bucks with drink. Homemade sweet tea for me. 10 bucks with water. Good fried chicken and BBQ pulled pork, corn bread,mashed potato. Regular American basic fare. Salad Bar is there as is desert bar. But saving room for desert is hard you can do it!

Always great service. Quick food & lots of it! Eating out that won't break your budget. Parking can be complicated. But usually there's a spot is you look close enough. We usually take our Rottweilers and eat on the patio. There are plenty of picnic tables for all to spread out for room. They're particularly fond of the chili dogs and tater tots. Of course, we spoil them with a pup cup for dessert! The waitresses are very dog friendly. If your dogs are too, that is. We highly recommend it. Two paws up!!

Country cooking just what i was looking for, everything was delicious, best fried chicken ive had in a long time.

Breakfast was wonderful. Eggs cooked to order, potatoes crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and bacon good and crispy. Our server Kerri was awesome!

This place is a gem! I'm from Minnesota found this place driving through and the food is absolutely delicious! The service was amazing! Thank yall for the great time and experience! I'll definitely be visiting it again, come up the great work!

Great place to hang out with other country folk excellent southern cooking decent prices and fantastic service. The staff even remembered that my wife takes her water with no ice, and we haven't been there in a month! It's no wonder the place is always crowded especially on Fridays when they have shrimp.

Great food, friendly service and atmosphere. Ribs were fall off the bone tender, fish and shrimp were great and what can I say about the Homemade Mac and Cheese? It was definitely the star on my dinner plate. I'm not from the area but hopefully my friend and I will be able to stop there when we go to Williston in July. If you like going where the locals go to eat this is the place.

Nice lil place. Had to come in for a funeral and was hella early ..and hungry. This wasn't even 10 mins from location. Allowed for some quality time with my mommie

Browns is the best buffet in the area for the price. It's my favorite place to eat when I do dine out.

If you want delicious, home style comfort food, then this is the place. Very good food.
