Carol's Country Cooking has been serving good old soul food in Quincy for many years. It's still delicious. Still receive heafty portions for the price. Employees are friendly and cordial. Tried their yellow rice, pepper steak, and gravy. Drink comes with your meal. Pink lemonade is so good 👍. Their Peach cobbler is devine. I hate that I only got one container. Off the beaten track but not too far from I10, the food is hot and homely. I had the smothered pork chops and they were tender and delectable. Service was warm and friendly. Counter service which you then take to your table.

You can also get your car valeted out the back while you eat!

Excellent country soulfood. Really loved the turkey wings and gravy. Super reasonable prices and they load you up.

Let me just say this place is PHENOMENAL! The food is top notch and the catering services are superb! Carol’s EFFORTLESSLY served breakfast, lunch, and dinner for over 400 line crews during Hurricane Michael and other storms. This is your go-to place for any event or a good lunch! Carol’s really goes over and beyond and we are so thankful to have this restaurant in our community!

I happen to be in Quincy and was looking for some good country food, or should I say some good soul food I read the reviews these people must be crazy! I got the beef tips broccoli with cheese mashed potatoes macaroni was off the walls! I will be returning

The best Soul food that is attractive and well seasoned. Hmmm good with Great portions of food which is enough for 2 meals if you aren't too hungry.
The staff is very friendly with down to home fast service. The Rutabagas, okra, Collard greens, Sweet potato souffle, Flap Jack cornbread etc is off the chain.

I had the liver and onions over rice. Collard greens and fried corn bread along with sweet potato casserole. A drink comes with the meal. I paid $9.95 plus tax $10.70. This food was delicious. Everything bite was tasty. They had pig feet, chillings, BBQ ribs, Smothered chicken and much more. The dining room was closed. ( social distance) I can see it's large for a big crowd. Check it out when you're in Quincy Fl.
