Book Bin

This is a cute, small town book store nestled in the middle of a Onley, VA. I was surprised with the variety of genre of books on their shelves. There are plenty of books in the inventory for everyone to find something they can take home. In the back of the shop is a sweet little cafe serving lattes, frappes, and snacks. I went with the tiramisu latte (flavor of the week), it was delicious. I found the two woman working that day to be nice and helpful, they were welcoming and knew the inventory well.

I stop in every time I'm in Onley. It's a friendly little bookstore, toy store, and cafe. I hope they stay forever! Support local bookstores!

I actually witnessed staff walk fro.behind the counter and find a book for tge customer. This typer of customer service is dying and here it lives on.

Coffee bar, with seating area, here you get help for the lil treat of caffeine or general sweet tooth with a patient and sweet batista to help assist you. (cash tips are in form of token from from register)

We always stop at this great little independent book store when we drive up the Eastern Shore from Greenville, NC to south Jersey and PA to visit family. If you are a reader, you will find their recommendations exceptional. My husband and I left with 4 books and ordered 3 more! Phillip (the owner, we assumed) was incredibly helpful and shared several local places of interest, which we checked out before we headed north. Don’t miss this great little spot when you travel the Eastern Shore...great coffee spot, as well. Love giving our money to local businesses ❤

This is a quaint, comfortable and cozy bookshop with a fantastic coffee bar. I had a cafe mocha and my husband had a cookies and cream frappe. They were fantastic. We also had rocky road biscotti that were out of this world!!! So tasty. Customer service is excellent. You will feel very welcome to relax with a book and great coffee!!!

Driving up from the Carolina’s and back up to New York and needed a good coffee. This place came up en route, so we stopped and glad we did. We were greeted with a welcoming hello. Warm and friendly, a quaint shop with some areas for the kids to play. Delicious coffee and each of us purchased a book to read in the car. Would stop here again. Highly recommend.

It is also a perfect spot to find that unique gift or an educational fun toy for the kiddos.
I was quite pleased when I spotted and tried a sweet black cherry scone with my coffee. Delicious!
The only down fall to this store is not living closer to visit every day!

This might be our new favorite coffee shop. The book store is beautiful and there is so much to look at! The kids area is adorable. The coffee shop was pleasantly fantastic. We stopped a few mornings in a row because it was so good!!

Great selection of books and quality kids toys. I’m new to VA but I will keep on coming back to this place because it’s close to home and it’s the only place that serves espresso drinks that taste absolutely delicious! And the drinks are reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a good coffee and a good book!

Was passing through in desperate need of coffee. Though I must admit, I was not overly impressed with MY coffee selection (americano + a shot), the staff were incredible, my daughter had a great time playing, and the book selection was also great. Highly recommended and will be back whenever I pass through (but will ask for something stronger drink-wise!)

Make sure to patronize this unique independently owned business so it stays around for many years to come. Not just books! Toys including educational and inspiring toys, gifts, cute stuff. Make sure you try their coffee creations!

Cute Book Shop with coffee too. I go almost weekly for coffee and enjoy chatting with the friendly staff. It is a favorite for locals. There is seating to enjoy your coffee and relax. A nice kids section of books and toys is located towards the back. Before covid, it was a nice place to bring the little ones so they could play with some toys and the little play house. It's slowly becoming a place for those little play dates again.

Love this store! The book selection is incredible and there is nothing better than enjoying one of their delicious coffees with a friend while browsing all the different titles available.

Small, clean local bookstore with coffee. Has often been a favorite place for different groups of folks from the college to retired sects.

Sweet book store with a kids’ section + a surprisingly delicious coffee bar! Staff was really welcoming. I appreciated the dairy-free options at the coffee bar so I could indulge in a fancy drink. :)

Very helpful staff. Very clean. Sells from Melissa and Doug to all kinds of books from fiction to nonfiction to poetry and cookbooks. Also has a little coffee shop in the back and a sitting room.

Bought some beautiful books on fishing and seafaring. They have all kinds of books, but I am drawn to more unusual and educational titles.
