Irritable Pelican Art Gallery-Tybee Island

Teresa was a life saver and delivered an out of the park flower spread for me to present my wife for our 10 year anniversary. The fact that she was in Tybee was a plus because I love shopping local. Will use again and glad to have a florist so close to us. She was personable as well. Lovely shop was a bonus.

A beautiful gallery and a great place to pick up some local art to bring home from a trip to Tybee Island. So excited about their newest venture as they launch Pelican's Palette, a new classroom for arts and crafts. The class offerings look so fun and I can't wait to try them out!

I love the Irritable Pelican Art Gallery.
Not just because I’m an Artist that consigns my work there, but also because the collection of Art is so varied and much of the Art priced affordably. There truly is something for everybody.
I think Artists who stop in are inspired as well.
Our owner is very pro Tybee and Coastal Ga., an Artist herself. So we are blessed in many ways.

I absolutely love the artwork at the Irritable Pelican Artisan Gallery . I have purchased four beautiful paintings over the past few months. I love Tybee and the pictures skillfully and artistically depict the beautiful Island. The curators are very friendly, quick to respond, and most of all, helpful. My paintings each arrived safely and quickly. I am very happy with my purchases and hope to buy a larger painting one day soon. I give the Irritable Pelican Gallery 5 stars, but really if I could give them one thousand, I would. The paintings are a little reminder of home, since I no longer live in Tybee.

I found the gallery via Facebook this summer. I began ordering from Michigan through their online store. Staff was always willing to help if I had questions on items for sale, whether sending me more pictures or just giving me more details.

I was looking forward to shopping in person when we were on Tybee Island for 5.5 weeks. Unfortunately, they were closed for renovations for a good part of it, and then hours and days are still limited due to off-season. Sarah was more than willing to set up an appointment for me to come to the gallery prior to my time on Tybee ending.

I truly appreciate her taking the time! Seeing things in person is always better than online. Amazing variety of art from a number of different artists on display.

Look forward to the next trip, and I will continue to keep my eye on Facebook and online stores.

Love this place. Awesome unusual art work and pieces. The staff were some of the artists that had pieces on sale there. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Love! Love! Love!

Such a charming gallery and friendly staff! A great selection...something for everyone. We LOVE the artist made masks and have purchased multiples of them! Order online OR stop in the gallery while in the area and bring a little treat home from your visit!

Don’t miss out on going to this shop! All items are artisan made and I even visited with the lady who made the earrings I bought. The two ladies in the shop were two of the most delightful people we met on our trip to Tybee.

I love this little gallery! Terrific for picking up reasonably priced gifts that I often don't want to give away. Sarah and the others (who are often the artists) are a great help. Five stars for sure!

Found a beautiful pastel work of a Savannah garden at the St. Simons store for a last minute Christmas present for my wife. Nice local art at affordable prices.
