TIMS Bikes, Beach & Disc Golf

Easy rental process and great service. They gave us a clear plan to explore the island. $80 for 4 bikes. Baskets available. Bikes are bit old (simple gearless) but they get the job done. Would highly recommend for folks exploring Tybee as a day trip from Savannah!

Excellent service from the team! I picked up a very cute, reasonably priced set of sunglasses from the store and we were off on our beach biking adventure! Great memories were made!

Great shop and good people! Myself and some family went there to buy some discs to play the local course on vacation. The shop keeper let us know what we would reasonably need and invited to play with him on Thursday too :). Needles to say I hurled this disc in the creek. A week after getting back Tim’s let me know they had it and offered to mail it to me! It just arrived, I opened the package and I found a koozie tucked inside the disc?!?! Tim’s rocks 🤘

We recently rented some bikes from TIMS Bikes of Tybee Island and enjoyed exploring the area. Tim went above and beyond to provide us with the best possible experience. He took extra time to provide a map outlining the best path (unique path), which gave us the most enjoyable experience and was a nice touch. Tim's makes it so easy! Multiple locations across the island to pick up bikes and gear, or they also offer drop off and pick up. Plus they were really affordable. I had so much fun riding around Tybee on my bike and I was glad that I was able to take it on the sand as well as the street. Customer service was excellent! I highly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience renting bikes from TIMS on our recent trip to Tybee Island. We rented 4 bikes for the day and it was the perfect way to explore the island. The designated bike trails make it easy to navigate without having to constantly check a map or GPS. The bikes themselves were in good condition, though the seats were not the most comfortable, but none of my crew are avid bikers so we were a little tired and sore, but in a good way.

We also appreciated the option to rent baskets for carrying souvenirs or snacks. A big plus was that with staying on the island we got to keep our bikes until the next morning. We also had a flat tire at one point and gave them a call and they brought us a new bike to their South Location, which was awesome service.

Overall, we highly recommend renting bikes from TIMS to anyone visiting Tybee Island. It's a great way to see the island and the level of service is top-notch!

Tim was great to work with. We had a last minute idea of going to the island to ride bikes on a corporate retreat and he was able to get us biking in no time. We had a great time!

Extremely friendly environment! Got exactly the discs we were looking for. Even better, when one of our lost discs was found a week later, they texted the number I wrote on the back and offered to ship it to my home address at no cost! Incredibly kind of them.

Lost a disc at Jaycee Park, someone found it and dropped it off at Tim’s Bikes, Beach and Disc Golf. They mailed me my disc back and even through in a koozie! Plus they didn’t charge me for anything! Thanks so much for getting my disc back, I’ll definitely stop by your shop and buy some discs next time I’m in town!

Lost half my disc's in the stream at Jaycee Park! To my surprise they were found and kindly sent back! Definitely purchasing a disc or two from here when I'm back in Tybee

Fast and friendly service. Highly recommend renting bikes here! Helmets, a bike lock and cup holders are included in the price!! One of our bikes was a bit squeaky but I think that’s to be expected with beach cruisers. We had a wonderful time on Tybee exploring on our bikes and we can’t wait to do it again!

Tim’s rental service was fantastic. I rented the chair umbrella and beach cart combo which made our day at the beach perfect. The shop owner went out of his way to make sure I got my rentals even though I mistakenly made a reservation at the north beach shop instead of the south beach location we were at. Above and beyond outstanding customer service!!!

Great store for disc golf equipment. I hope they build the inventory a bit. They always have interesting discs. Only store I know that returns discs they find. I will always buy from them.

Really pleasant experience with Tim. Turns out it didn't make sense to rent from his shop because of our limited car space and short time frame, so he actually recommended other places we could go. Very honest and I appreciate that!

I was thrilled when my parents agreed to a biking tour of Tybee Island during our time in Savannah. Prior to our trip, I had emailed Tim's to make sure we didn't need a reservation, and they were quick to respond and assure me that we would be fine to just drop in and pick up bikes when we arrived.

Pick up was seamless, the bikes were great and we had a wonderful day.

When we found ourselves slightly stranded when our cab driver never came back for us, Tim's was super helpful in helping us make alternate plans.

If you're on Tybee, a bike ride is such a great way to see more of the Island. The streets are made for cyclists with wide roads and a bike route the weaves through gorgeous homes and incredible landscaping - it felt like we were visiting a Botanic Garden.

Can't recommend renting bikes from Tim's enough! Enjoy!

We rented a tandem bike and it was awesome! Delivered to our hotel and was on time and picked up the next day. Bike helmets were included. Highly recommend biking around Tybee Island and TIMS made it easy!

Friendly and great customer service - they'll deliver bikes and beach gear directly to your on-island lodging which makes it super convenient if you don't have a car. We had a small glitch with the beach chairs we rented but Tim's were very accommodating in helping resolve. Bikes were perfect for cruising around the back roads of the island. Would recommend if you're looking to rent gear while staying on Tybee!

We rented bikes with Jennifer who was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and generous. When our kiddo got spooked by the big trucks nearby, she refunded her bike right away. When it was pouring rain, she called to offer to pick up the bikes from our condo at no charge so we wouldn’t have to bring them back in the rain. Highly recommend; very family friendly.

I’ve visited Tybee many many times over the years but this was the first time we decided to rent bikes for our week-long trip. I’m SO glad we did and SO glad we chose Tim’s beach gear! We reserved them ahead of time and took advantage of the option for drop-off at the house we’d rented. The guys arrived in-time with our bikes, were super friendly and everything went as planned. A few days later, I noticed one of the wheels on my bike had gone flat so I called the office and they came out and swapped my bike with a new one. On they day we’d set for pickup they magically appeared and picked up our bikes. So. Easy. We will definitely be renting from Tim’s again! Thank you!!
