Saint Michael's Catholic Church

A reverent novus ordo. Some women were veiled; you can receive communion on the tongue and receive the Precious Blood-which is important if you have Celiac. Parking is limited, but we were only a few minutes early and found metered parking for the 8 am Sunday mass. There were many families and probably twice the seating capacity in mid-July. The newly assigned priest, Fr. Brannen, was a wonderful homilist, unpretentious, and on the traditional side.

Wonderful church. In town visiting and went to mass. The pastor is incredible, gave a wonderful sermon; was very engaging, funny, and very humble.
Music was fantastic, not your typical Catholic hyms. Singer/pianist was incredible. Sang/played with lots of emotion, probably should have some kind of recording deal.
Wish my local church was like here.

I love the wood! Recent updating: new altar and tiled. Beautiful artwork done on the walls and St. Michael has a welcoming place to folks coming in the door💞 communion everyday, except Fridays. 11 am service is phun...

After drinking way too much on my trip to Tybee for a bachelor party, I found myself separated from my group at 2am. In a drunken daze I decided to find my way back home to the house we had rented when I decided to sit down in front of St. Michael's church. Before long, I had passed out for about 45 minutes on the front steps until my best friend came and found me sprawled out on the ground. Honestly, they were the most comfortable steps I've ever slept on, and if the openness and love from the congregation matches the comfort of the architecture outside, this Protestant might have to make a visit to Tybee for Sunday mass. 5/5 stars. Would visit again, sober or inebriated.

Beautiful little church. I was slightly concerned about the experience I might find while on vacation but St Michael's quickly put those to rest. It's a little small but makes up for it with an abundance of charm and a friendly and welcoming congregation. I would love to go back again

Cool fun small church with great folk band music. Very welcoming.

This is the church in Savannah if I remember correctly. I'm not much on Catholic religion but these people know how to build a beautiful building stay away from Paula deen's because it's truck stop food and go to this beautiful cathedral if you appreciate things like that you will love this place.

Visiting from out of town. We were welcomed and made to feel as though this was our home parish. The sermon was wonderful and we enjoyed our visit at St. Michael's.

I’ve been going to this church since I was a student at St. Michael’s School before it shut down. I love this church. I’ve tried many different Catholic churches, but nothing is as welcoming or as friendly as this one.

Our new Parish as of May 1st!!! Can't wait. Have visited many many times and finally we will call it home.

Jesus lives here, so stop in and give Him a visit!
