Great access to the river below the dam. I usually need to pick up trash but also usually catch some fish so it’s a reasonable trade off for me

Quiet camping walking distance from Kaw lake dam. Plenty of fire wood on site. Clean bathrooms. Electric and water at camp sites. Tents allowed. Dogs allowed. Great fishing. Swimming area in less than a mile from camping area. Arkansas river access on site. Loved sandypark. #sandypark #kawlake #kawdam #oklahomacamping #rec.gov
