I have been a very regular patron of TCCL for over twenty years. I began going when my, now adult, daughter was in first grade. I have lived in north, south, southeast, and east Tulsa. I work near downtown and for years, attended church in West Tulsa. All that being said, I have had the opportunity to regularly utilize most of the TCCL locations. Hands down, I love Suburban Acres. Sherri and Tiffany, who have been there FOREVER, have always been available and friendly. I have not had any problems with the other locations, but I have yet to experience the feeling of a library "home" with those locations. I use the word home because you feel welcome, they are helpful, they know your interests, etc. I have lived in Jenks and have requested that my hold items go to Suburban Acres for pick up simply because I love their service. There are a couple of new faces there. Although they are still getting to know everyone, they respond where needed. I bet with a little time, they will feel like friends of your family. I have never worried about my children in their location. I will say, there are many teens around the location after school. It is after all, right next door to a main bus stop for many schools. If anyone knows about teens, you know there are a few, not all, that need redirecting anywhere you go. Suburban Acres does have staffing for this IF needed, and immediately deals accordingly with situations should they arise. I can say more, but I think you get the gist of it.

Very nice place workers are respectful and nice clean. I like that you can pick up seeds from there and return I'm New to Tulsa Area, Texas libraries that I knew of didn't have this option Aslo my kids love going to read books and sit on the confy chiars

A peaceful place where people are happy to help. A huge collection of books and dvd's for all ages and interests.
