Tulsa City County Library

The library, itself, as absolutely beautiful & well maintained. The librarian present on the evening of my (first) visit, March 22nd, was so helpful. I'm a recent transplant from California and she was patient, kind and so informative. I wish I caught her name.

So many amenities, great variety, clean. Loved everything about it.

This is NO fault of the library, but I feel it needs to be mentioned... the homeless. Downtown is full of transients and homeless people. Most seem to be mentally unstable, whether due to illness or substance abuse, I can't say, but it did make me a little uneasy while walking up the stairs and into the building. There was 7 homeless people setting up camp out front and 2 were yelling things, randomly, and cursing.

Just be safe, in the evening, at least.

We had our wedding at the Central Library and it was a dream, from the planning process to our very last dance with our friends. The building is gorgeously renovated, kept impeccably clean, and is a fantastic representation of Tulsa that we were so proud to show off to our guests.
I have to give a special shout out to Nicklaus Ramsey, who worked with us on the event. He is so detail-oriented, very responsive to our questions, and an absolute dream to work with. Highly recommend using the Central Library for your next event, especially if you get to work with Nicklaus. Thank you for making our wedding so special!

Excellent place to educate you in education, peace and silence in case you need a space to concentrate! Parking is free on Saturdays and Sundays✨
It has 3D pieces in case you want to see something innovative and it has spaces where you can hold meetings

Ive lived in many cities across America, and for the size and population of Tulsa, the library is extremely nice. Not only the atmosphere and set up of the building, but also the staff is extremely friendly. I've never heard them be anything but extremely helpful with any library patrons. The library offers many private/quiet study rooms for one or multiple people. The Creator Lab offers cool hands on learning of different skills. Plenty of computers with internet access.

So I'm a library of fanatic and I love this Library so much they have great programming my daughter and I actually do our podcast there we actually also allow her to do Teen lounge. The librarians are very helpful.

I love that I can check out books on Libby with my library card. Also, the Central Library has such great events! We saw Michelle Zauner last year which was amazing. For Valentine's Day this year, they hosted a Fae Frolic which was so cute. <3<3

This is a world-class library. Clean spaces, a children's garden, and an amazing Maker Lab! The third floor reference section has helped us start our small business with references on tax codes, investment firms, and more. I've also found answers to legal questions with their fantastic law section.

Great library. They will validate your parking for 2 hrs so it's usually free to park there. Indoor Starbucks in the library. Great time!

Beautiful and clean, very helpful employees and has every book you can think of and more

There is not another organization that does more for Tulsa than the TCCL. By having a library card to the TCCL it gives card holders access to: a free Lynda account, rentable DVDs and Blu-Ray, studio recording, computer labs, and too many other programs to count. I’ve found the staff to be patient and helpful throughout my visits and would highly suggest visiting yourself. Also, if you validate your parking ticket inside with an associate it gives you 3 hours of free parking, which I’ve found extremely useful on many occasions.

I love this library, they were closed for a long time for renovations and it was worth the wait. I'm happy they kept some of the old flair such as the stairs but upgraded as well with touch-screen computers and a fought simulator. Lots of family friendly activities as well, and don't forget the Starbucks and outdoor patio

Staff at the Central library are helpful and professional. There are no questions concerning that which is within the library system they cannot answer, Tulsa Central Library, is the place to go when you need help and guidance.

I have been thinking about how to start this so we will just start with how cool the inside looks. The new study areas,the 3d printers (I personally havent used them or the flight simulator but have the models they have) how cool. I take my kids up there and they always go for the tube activity wall first then the seperate stations for the kids the play in. Definitely different than the quiet library I went to as a kid. I think its neat for the kids. It gets them wanting to go to the library. My youngest one is special needs and the computer activities that they have not only keep him learning but wanting to continue for that gold star at the end. I enjoy learning about history and everything is laid out so nice and organized. Thank you to all the staff there.

The updated library looks amazing! Super friendly staff and security. Three amazing floors of goodness. Can't wait to return. Highly recommended. Well done Tulsa.

Wonderful staff; kind and super helpful. The library itself is beautiful, well stocked with a huge variety of books and supporting materials. The facilities are clean and the staff is happy. I’m so glad to be a member of the Tulsa County Library system.

Super clean Family bathroom, great for me and 1 yr old granddaughter! Wonderful children's section. Love all the play/interactive areas. 😀

Best library ever. Librarians and Hector in the maker space are all super helpful. And great selection on ebooks.
