Sisserou's Caribbean Restaurant & Catering

Phenomenal! Everything was exceptional and there’s so much on the menu that I can’t wait to try. Wife and I finally went for a lunch date as several friends have told us how good it is and it did not disappoint. Ended up going back for lunch again the next day and are getting a sitter so we hit up dinner and the bar. If they have fresh shark in the Bake & Shark is outstanding, the Butternut Squash Soup is a must, hands down the best I’ve ever had. Outstanding service and a decent atmosphere too, new favorite downtown spot.

Have stayed close by for years while traveling for work. Coworkers recommended Sisserou's and was excited to try a new menu in Tulsa.
The service was exemplary and checked in with the group for appetizers and drinks frequently.
The dinner menu is a welcomed break from the comfort menu. The Rasta Pasta was delightful 10/10, lots of spiced chicken, veg based with unique pasta shapes and great sauce.
Can't wait to go back and try more from the menu.

First timer here an man, oh man, this place was phenomenal. The flavors were jumping off the plate. The ambiance is unique and with an open floor but still feels private. I had the Cuban with the soup, and hubs had the jerk chicken tacos with rice and beans. Our appetizer was the lump crab. You also get bread with a spicy dip and butter. I just can't say enough about this place, but to definitely put it on your foodie list.

We arrived at Sisserou’s around 7pm on a Friday night and somehow managed to get a table for 4! It would probably be better to make reservations so I do recommend that.

Our group ordered 4 different mocktails which were all delicious. We got the coconut shrimp and crabback for our appetizers, which also came out with bread (paired with whipped butter and the most delicious hot sauce). For entrees, we got two orders of Jerk Chicken, Salmon Rasta Pasta, and Chicken Curry. Everything was absolutely delicious and perfect. Our server was amazing as well - very attentive and helpful.

I will definitely be back to try more of the food selections.

We ate here on a last minute whim on a Saturday afternoon. Four of us. They advertise authentic Caribbean cuisine and they delivered! The first thing you notice as you walk in is the smell of Caribbean curry. We were seated immediately and our server was fantastic from beginning to end. The couple we were with split the Cuban sandwich with sweet potato chips and were impressed. My wife got the half Cuban and butternut squash soup. Also great! I think my sandwich was called the Caribbean Dip, it was shaved ribeye on a hoagie roll with curry flavored au ju. Again, great! For appetizer we got Jerk wings which were filled with flavor. For dessert I had a coconut rum creme brulee which was heavenly. We were only visitors on this trip but if I ever go thru Tulsa again I will definitely stop by.

The kids meals are hearty and delicious; random, but, they have one of the best hot dogs ever 😀
The appetizers are small so keep that in mind.
Entrees are large enough to share.
Their coconut Crème brulee is my favorite thing!

SHARK MEAT ✅, BABY!!!

Made an impulse decision to get away to #tulsaok for an evening excursion and in good old Trevor fashion I made sure to find something out of my ordinary to eat.

I ended up at Sisserou's Restaurant for some #carribbeanfood .

The low light ( trevy likey ) ambience was pleasant, the tactile menu was a nice touch 😉 that included a wide selection of tasty sounding food.

And as soon as I saw Shark...boom, decision made!

The Bake & Shark had me revelling at the idea of biting into something that could easily take a bite out of me and to my relief ( I'm iffy with fish ) it tasted absolutely delicious!! Deep fried plantains were a perfect side to try the three sauces that accompanied.

Heavily recommend!!!

This trip included a brief stop at #thegatheringplace to explore. Not much happening but several extremely kind folks were out walking their dogs or with family. Warm fireplaces inside and out were surrounded by novel seating. I look forward to visiting in about 30-40° warmer temps.

I've made some self discoveries as of late. Some I'll be happy to share and some I'll rightfully keep to myself.

One such is; my person is not satisfied with stale.

While my #mentalhealth benefits from routine, especially with diet, exercise, work/life balance, at times I need to periodically shock my norms with unexpected excitements.

So I do.

Nice restaurant! Been here a few times. Great service, food and cocktails. Sarah our bartender was great! 😊

Wonderful place with excellent and friendly service and a nice, colorful ambiance. Highly recommended the CALLALOO soup and the PAMPLEMOUSSE cocktail. Fish tacos were a little dry, but it server Hailey got a side of the delicious apricot glaze for me and they were great.

First off, our server Josh was amazing! You really appreciate quality service and this is your guy. I’ll be hoping he’s sitting next time we’re in because that’s who we’re asking for.

But the food and cocktails were also WOW! The blend that they pull together would be unheard of to me and it was executed flawlessly. And the Bees’s Knees Cocktail really is the BEE’S KNEES!

Great service by the waiters, they were very sweet and chatted a little bit and answered all our questions and were veryyy patient in letting us shuffle around with our selections. The appetizers are of big portion sizes and after eating two of those, it was tough for me to eat half plate of the entree. Best crab cake that I have had hands down! The complimentary bread and butter wer yum. Coconut creme brûlée hit the right spot

AMAZING! EVERYTHING was AMAZING!! From the hostess and bartender greeting you at the door to the knowledgeable server and the manager coming to the table. The bread had the perfect amount of sweetness and moisture with a flaky outer layer. The server described the special perfectly. My friend and I both chose to special. It was a jerk chicken sandwich. The server told us the specials are random so you never know what it will be. I love that! The sandwich had a perfect mixture of savory (chicken & cheese) crunchy, sweetness ,(coleslaw, pickles) and some kickin sauce on the side that you just have to drizzle all over it. All brought together by whole wheat bun. It came with corn on the cob I personally loved but my friend said she'd had better. The platain were amazing. Nice sweet flavor. My friends got water but I ordered passion fruit lemonade. We both got a dessert. She had the chocolate cake and I had the bread pudding. The server let us know there would be a waitt on the cake. The wait is 100% worth it. The bread pudding was a bit bland but good. I definitely recommend this place is you want some new flavors!

The food is so yummy! I got the pork tenderloin and it was delicious. The wait staff is always friendly and the drinks were wonderful and pretty!:) this is one of our favorite date night places.

The Food was amazing the shrimp was as huge and packed with flavor. The burger chef's kiss!! 10 out 10 recommended!

Modernly decorated Caribbean restaurant serving some deliciousness with a unique menu. For my appetizer I had the Beef Patties and they were deliciously impactful. For my entree I had their Oxtail Stew. I also tried their Fried Plantains and their Baked Macaroni & Cheese that were tasty and out of this world. Modern and comfortable decor. Amazing service. The entrance is located off the street. Nearby parking lot or spaces. Limited and timed street parking available. Decent prices.

The sign is correct “a taste of the Caribbean “ . We both had the Jerk Chicken Meal and it was delicious. The only to make it better would be to serve it on the beach . Our server, Josh is the best server in Tulsa ( shout out to Josh , thank you for taking such good care of us). We live a couple of hours away but have already planned our next visit to Sisserou’s . Now I’m ready to go back to Jamaica.

The food was good, but over priced. I didn't like the mandatory 20% gratuity on large parties. I think tips should be a choice based on performance. Our waitress was very good so I didn't complain. I do have one complaint, the silverware still had food on them. Almost half the silverware on the table had to be changed out for clean silverware. I'm giving 5 stars because overall it was a nice place with great staff. Just fire the dishwasher. 😔

My first time going and I'm ADDICTED!! The owner (I didn't get his name) was VERY PROFESSIONAL, KIND, ATTENTIVE & VERY HANDSOME!! Me & my guy friend just walked in without a reservation on a busy Saturday evening/night, and the owner was very polite and pleasant and assured us seating, and he DELIVERED very quickly on that promise. The ambience was very pleasant, warm & inviting. Can be romantic if you're on a date, but I was with a friend. Our waitress/server was THEE BEST she answered all of our questions, checked on us frequently, was very polite & jovial, made sure we had everything we needed and more!!! The FOOD... TOP NOTCH!!! Presentation, portions, flavors just danced in my mouth. The owner even stopped by to make sure we were satisfied with our meal and if we needed anything else. My friend said he'd been to Sisserou's several times before and that it's always a pleasant experience. He knows that I do reviews and wanted me to experience Sisserou's... I'll be going back often, probably alone, but I'm going nonetheless! 10/10 prices are very reasonable. I plan to try everything on the menu!!!

The service was awesome! And place was so clean. We started off with their specialty drink rum punch, so good! Caribbean jerk wings were juicy and so delicious!

Sisserou’s burger was 7.5/10 (kinda dry for a medium doneness) and roti wrap had good flavor but wish it was spicy. Huuuge portion of roti wrap though, couldn’t finish it all. Side of fried plantains was kind of bland and not very caramelized.

I absolutely loved this place. Definitely become one of my top favorites in the Tulsa area. The food was impeccable. We started off with the Jerk Chicken Wings with the avocado sauce, mouth watering. The Salmon Rasta Pasta was my dish and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors came together to make a masterpiece. Everything was perfectly cooked. The walnut pesto was beautiful and tied it together in an unexpected but phenomenal way. 10/10 recommend this dish. We also ordered the stewed oxtail and it was tender and flavored well, my picky husband loved it. We had amazing service and loved the atmosphere.
