I had the hunting experience of a lifetime. This ranch is top tier and a guaranteed fun time. Our guide, Shelton, made this trip one for the books. His experience and knowledge guaranteed we met our limit within 24 hours. If you’re looking for a fun, intense wild hog hunt, you will not be disappointed with Prairie Fire Ranch. High praise to the owner and Shelton for making my first hog hunt way better than I could have ever imagined.

My family and I came here and had an awesome time! We all were able to kill everything we came for which included 7 Hogs and an Aoudad. ShelTon was an awesome guide and went above and beyond to make our trip exciting and worth it! He definitely deserves a new ranger or two that doesn’t give him so much trouble when he’s driving the hunters around though. No complaints, Shelton makes this place awesome.

My three boys, uncle, cousin, and myself had a great memorable and successful hunt. Our guide Shelton is extremely good at his job and my kids enjoyed his knowledge and good company while we were hunting. Thanks again "Sheldon" jk Shelton! Highly recommend!

Great people. Hunted hogs with family at a Thanksgiving gathering. Shelton is awesome. Definitely a very memorable experience, these folks are GTG.

My youngest grandson and I went hog huntin for the first time. It was even his first kill. It didn’t take long for both of us to get one. Looking forward to going again.

Never hunted a ranch before. It's fairly easy for hogs. There is no need for a two day hunt with hogs. Don't know about the deer and oudad, probably a little harder. No facilities had to use an outhouse.

Overall hunting experience was very suboptimal. Very few hogs. I hunted for 3 days without seeing a hog. Expectations given by owner prior to hunt fell far short. Most exotics (which we were told by owner were available for harvest ) were not. After booking and receiving down payment, I never again heard from the owner. This included after the hunt to check on our experience. Shelton (guide) was very hard working & made every attempt to help harvest hogs in an area with lack of game. Lodging was reasonable. Overall, I would recommend pursuing other feral hog outfitters.

Poor management. Shelton gave 110% effort. Spent an entire day here, didn’t see or hear one pig.
