Quilt Shoppe

What a wonderful place to find really cool fabrics and notions! The selection rivals that of big city shops! Except it is fresh merchandise as there are LOTS of quilters in the area. I love browsing and there are a great bunch of quilters who meet here for class, learning and exchanging ideas weekly! The owner is awesome and the quilting instructor is fantastic! PLUS, they have the most adorable and unique baby clothing! A must visit store when visiting SE Oklahoma!

I visited quite a few years ago. We found it quite by accident and it was a highlight of my trip. What a fabulous shop! Awesome selection of unique fabrics, beautifully decorated store and charming proprietor. I so wish I lived closer so I could visit often. I have visited many, many quilt shops around the country and this one is at the top of my list. Keep up the good work.

I am not a seamstress, but I LOVE their clothes for babies. Their girls and boys clothes are very cute and the display is nice.

This was, definitely, a sweet store to take a browse around. They had a nice selection of fabric and the vintage sewing decor was fascinating. The gentleman who helped us was very friendly.
It didn't smell good in there, though. I bought three yards of fabric and it still smells like the store, like mildew. I also bought some pins and quilting thread. I just noticed the outer edges of the thread, where the spool and thread meet, is yellowed with age and dusty. I'm bummed, it's unusable. :( I love supporting local businesses, but 2 bad products out of three will keep me from purchasing here again and from being able to recommend it to other sewists and quilters as I am left to believe that they are okay with selling defective products.

Stopped several times at the shop and it was closed during business hours each time. Guessing the location is closed.
