We loved literally everything about our experience. Amelia herself came and checked on us. The bartender was on point. The food was phenomenal.

This place has an incredible atmosphere. Candles on the table, plants on the walls, service was excellent. The sourdough bread was incredible although next time we go I'd ask if they can get a fresh one instead of on that had been over-toasted or under the heat lamp for bit. Scallops were great, just a little salty. Ravioli was excellent. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Tulsa.

Sat at the bar on Valentine's Day. Ashley was great. Drinks were on point. Hummus and fresh pita, salmon entree and fresh fettuccine were wonderful. Took chocolate cream pie to go and fully impressed by the pastry chef. Will be back next time we're in Tulsa.

Amazing food with plenty of options. As the name says, everything is cooked over a wood fire and picks up a great flavor from it. If you can, I recommend sitting at the chefs bar to watch the cooking in action. That won't work well for large groups but is fun for a date night experience.

We booked the chef's counter, and it was a fun experience, getting to watch the food be prepared. Everyone in the kitchen was working super hard, and they paid so much attention to each dish. For appetizers, we had the scallop crudo and the empanadas. The scallop crudo came highly recommended from someone who recently ate there. I liked it, but wasn't blown away. The empanadas were excellent, we loved the dip that they come with. We had the fried Brussels sprouts salad, and that was our favorite thing out of everything we tried. It has Brussels sprouts and apples and it's delicious. We shared the tenderloin and it was really good... Came out perfectly cooked. The broccolini was also really good. The fingerling potatoes didn't blow us away. I'm not sure if they're seasoned - you can dip them in the sauce on the plate, but i always think fingerling potatoes have a bit of a funky taste. *side note, I loved the mismatched vintage China. So pretty.

The service was good - we used the valet service, which you can pay for on your check, and it beats trying to find parking downtown. The one criticism I had about that is that we weren't able to tip the valet on our check, and we didn't think to bring cash, so we were scrambling to find a way to not stiff the valet. I think if Amelia's doesn't allow us to digitally tip the valet, they should let it be known ahead of time that you'll need cash if you want to tip them.

All in all, it was a good experience, and we will try to make it back to try more things. I definitely think splitting an entree and using more appetite to try appetizers and/or salads is the way to go. The roasted carrots looked amazing, the hummus looked good, the shortribs looked good, and the sourdough bread looked good (and we heard it was really good).

My partner and I chose Amelia's to celebrate my 30th birthday during a recent weekend trip to Tulsa. We were seated at a cozy table, admittedly nestled in between other diners, but the soft lighting and warm, welcoming decor made it feel like we were stepping into a collective dining experience. Our server warmly greeted us, wishing me a happy birthday, and bringing us each our desired cocktails - both of which were balanced and delicious. As encouraged by many reviews, we started off with the empanadas, which were perfectly flaky and tender, stuffed with perfectly seasoned meat that was complimented by zesty and bright aioli (almost like an aioli/crema hybrid).

For our entrees, I ordered the homemade ravioli, pleasantly al dente pillows stuffed with succulent braised beef, coated in a luxuriously cheesy pan sauce and accented with just the right amount of sweetness from a fig reduction. My partner had the ahi tuna, which was perfectly cooked and accompanied by chilled noodles that were equally savory, spicy and piquant. We finished with a piece of chocolate cream pie - on the house for my birthday - which was seductively smooth and thick, with nostalgic smore-like vibes. Overall it was a spell-binding experience - a perfect send-off to my 20's! Cannot wait to experience Amelia's again the next time we come through Tulsa.

Food, drinks and customer service were fantastic! I recommend getting the octopus for appetizer. I hesitate most of the time when it comes to ordering and eating them because there are multiple instances that the octopus that I order before was chewy, but the Amelia’s octopus was not at all and with every bite, it melts in your mouth and it was delicious. The place was very clean and organized.

The vibes are superb. I had a reservation at the Chef's Table. Immediate entry, no wait. It was delightful to watch the chefs at work. Staring at the flames and coals of the woodfire grill was comforting and tranquil. The music was more romantic at times, and bouncy/trendy at others. I highly recommend the empanadas and the venison.

Amazing! Loved the atmosphere but the food was best so far this trip! From the wine to the dessert and everything in between it was outstanding. We sat at the chefs counter, super fun to get a front row seat and our waiter Brett was fabulous! Stop in for a true treat!! Amelia’s is a gem!

Highly recommend the Brussel Sprout appetizer, it was super delish. A little fancy for us but for our first date night in a very long time, very nice. Ashley our waitress, helped with the menu and took very good care of us. We will be back.

Great place! Atmosphere felt sophisticated without being stuffy, menu was diverse, and food was fresh! I had the spring pea fettucine - a lot going on in that dish, but it worked! Friend of mine did the Lebanese flat bread, which was very simple. We were both pleased with our food. Can't wait to come back here!

My wife and I went to Tulsa for a concert and decided to try Amelia’s. It was a great decision!

We both had the 8oz wood grilled beef tenderloin with Brussels sprouts, Patagonia potatoes and a shallot-peppercorn bordelaise and my tastes buds are still salivating at the thought of this wonderful dinner. In my wife’s words, “this is the best dinner I have ever had!” Since we are both foodies, that’s an amazing compliment and one I agree with. It was by far on the best meals I have ever had as well.

The ambiance of the restaurant was absolutely perfect. From the music to the staff, everything was perfect. The drink selection from wines to bourbons was also excellent.

If you are ever in Tulsa, do not pass up a chance to visit Amelia’s Wood-Fired Cuisine. Make a reservation early to secure your seating and enjoy. An absolute Oklahoma treasure. We will return!

A great concept with great service, an elevated-cozy ambiance, fantastic empanadas, and enjoyable seasonal entrees.

---

My family and I came here on a Saturday night to celebrate a recent life event. I had done my research on some of Tulsa's best restaurants, and this experience and the menu interested me quite a bit (I'm especially gullible to a restaurant that has a pairing for each of their entrees by the glass on the menu).

I really enjoyed the ambiance and decor, especially at night. There was an open view of the kitchen and searing of all sorts around the front - chef's table, booths, and high tops, with nice dim lighting around . My party and I were escorted and seated towards the back, in a smaller room surrounded by decor in the theme of Amelia Earhart.

Our service was excellent, with an experienced wait staff that were courteous and helpful. We decided to get a couple starters for the table and starter drinks before we each got our own entree.

For the entrees - we ordered the sourdough bread and empanadas (4). While a bit disappointed we had to order the bread, it was warm and soft and the orange butter that accompanied it was very flavorful. I had heard the Empanadas were some of the tastiest of the entire menu, and I wholeheartedly agree. The Beef was extremely well seasoned and the accompaniments of potato, squash and cheese were all heard and felt. My 'beet' margarita with mezcal was a great and refreshing companion to the empanada.

I was able to try everyone's entree, but I went with the Curry-Spiced Quail. The serving sizes for all the dishes were enormous, but they were all good in their own right. You definitely got the curry flavor in the quail, perhaps more than the quail itself, but I enjoyed it - albeit not my favorite entree. I also really enjoyed the balance of the bird with the risotto and fall flavors on the plate. I had paired the dish with their recommended zinfandel, which was fine but not an elite choice of pairing in my opinion. The other dishes at the table were the Scallops, the Ravioli, and the Salmon. The Scallops were good, especially for a land-locked state. The braised beef overpowered the Ravioli dish in my opinion, but it was all still very well prepared. The Salmon was also cooked well and looked well dressed surrounded by its accompaniments.

We did not save room for dessert, although they all looked great. Overall I would certainly recommend this restaurant to those looking for a nicer dinner in Downtown Tulsa, and would be happy to come again.

Fantastic food, drinks, and service. Bartender did a great job making some fun mocktails while skipping alcohol pre Ironman race for me, but I tried my wife’s actual cocktails and they were delicious! The grilled octopus and sweet potato Brie apps were great, as were the salmon and filet entrees.
