This is an amazing place! We were greeted by a very friendly host and spent a bit of time watching the video about the Osage Nation, and then went out to see the sculpture that was visible from the highway. THIS IS A MUST STOP place on route 66!

Beautiful artwork and jewelry made by Osage and Native American artists. The ladies at the visitors center were so friendly and open to discussing their culture and the history of the area.

Small, charming, very hospitable, sparkling clean bathroom, even an iPad 'bar' to check weather on a road trip or whatever. I am moving soon and so shouldn't have spent any money, but I couldn't resist two small paintings, a greeting card, and a bar of handmade soap.

The lady at the desk was so willing to talk about the Osage people and the area. Learned more here in 30mins then all my years in school. This was the true history you don't read in the white man's books.
