Really great experience. Highly recommend visiting. You can even purchase a brick with your name on it. For the museum walk path. The purchase goes to the museum up keep so its for a good cause. Seriously go!!

A quaint little history museum that covered a lot of the history of Daufuskie island from it's early days to present. The old school house next door also serves as the island's free library which is a great use of historical space that keeps it engaged in the community. It's well worth a stop as the staff there knows a lot of additional facts about the island and spots to see. It is a must see to get the most of Daufuskie.

Not just the museum but various points across the island. Really fascinating history. Great time to visit as it wasn't overrun with tourists OR mosquitoes! Gift shop, food stops, drinks, and then some.

Interesting place to learn about the history and culture of the island and area. Make sure this is one of the stops on your tour. Also the white building shown is not the history museum.

I use to come here as a child. It had wood shacks and an African village. None of that's here anymore.
