Franklin Place Storage

I rent trailers here regularly. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I'd give them 5 stars, but I strongly feel the owner needs make sure they get strong internet there so that they can serve the customers better. I usually rent online and go pick up, knowing that they have poor internet and just have patience.

Helpful staff

This is a VERY STRANGE operation out of a thin long end rental unit behind two other businesses. The old woman there claiming to be the owner has some severe mental problems.
If you want to be talked down to like a dog go here.
They can't be reasoned with they're out of control
I wouldn't give these people your personal information to save your life I called them with a part number that Uhaul showed they had in inventory a drawbar for a hitch
They had four in stock clearly marked and the woman started yelling at me that I shouldn't pick one up and hand it to her with the clean barcode for her to scan because it would upset her inventory.
She refuses to give me a receipt.
Thank God I took a video asking her if she was satisfied she was paid the exact amount and then I left.
She was demanding an email address or a phone number to send a receipt.
Literally went into a tirade when I asked her where she was from( she said Washington DC) literally stopped what she was doing at the computer and started to yell asking if I didn't like her southern hospitality!!
The husband was just as strange but at least he walked around the lot in flip-flops shorts and tanning salon tan... Both strike me as two people on drugs.
If someone doesn't like my truthful review go in there and prove me wrong.

Stay away, staff is not helpful. Stories change on daily basis, ie, computer doesn't work, owner states one rate but computer won't allow us to make changes. We can't open gate because someone is in town so you will have to wait at gate indefinitely until my husband comes back. Just nonsense. Avoid at all costs if you want to remain a happy person and not have the added stress of no n-helpful staff. Uhaul is not represented well at this location.

I am giving them a star for answering the phone, after that it all went down hill. Found another storage area down the road and the difference was like day and night !

The lot gate doesn't work and no one will answer the phone to help you get in. So if you store something there you may never get it back out.
