Great customer service. It has the old time hardware store feel. The selection is big but I never seem to find everything I'm looking for. They even carry outdoor fun stuff like patio furniture and fire pits.

Always have what I need, the ladies up front always welcome customers when they walk in the door, they always know where anything I need is located, and always friendly and smile when I leave. A true "throwback" store, to the days when people treated you with kindness and respect, and sold you quality items at a fair price. Every store should be like this one.

I came in needing crucial equipment for work in a hurry, so my stress levels were pretty high. They directed me exactly where i needed to go and had excellent options. Customer service was fantastic (even for an early Monday morning), and by the time I left, all my stress was gone. It had quite the environment that I will visit anytime I'm in or near burnet and need supplies. Thanks

The staff is friendly and helpful. Unlike the chain stores The guy in the paint department is very knowledgeable & actually knows about the products he's selling . He doesn't mind answering questions & sharing his knowledge with DYI customers.

This is my diamond store for all my cedar needs . Great prices , friendly staff . Everyone is knowledgeable . They have a nice assortment of home interior too .

I just wanted to say that on my day off..I went to Wal-Mart to purchase a toaster oven..needless to say I bought everything else but that! Got home and realized what I went to Wal-Mart for I totally forgot..that being said I go to Hoovers for my AC filters so I decided to see if they even carried a toaster oven. Well, YES!! They do! I actually bought a toaster oven, broiler, and air fryer in one machine..just a little over a 100 bucks. Wow! What a great product, this little appliance looks small but it is pretty deep.. It will cook a whole chicken, roast with a the vegis..etc..My whole thing here was not having to turn on my big oven. This oven heats up on MINUTES!! It is hot and ready and for air frying no wait time, just pop in anything you want and it's done so quick. Way better than any conventional oven. I didn't realize Hoovers carried something like that since I always just went in for air filters..I am super happy I took a look around..they have SO MUCH!! Thank you Hoovers! If anyone doesn't realize they carry everything from shoes, to dog treats, to pots and pans and small appliances ..like me!! Take a look around and buy local. I am glad I forgot what I went to Wal-Mart for because I got a really cool awesome 3 in 1 oven..it's awesome so pleased .

Hard core quality customer service! A couple of visits now, and at most home improvement shops I avoid talking to the useless employees at almost all cost. However, the folks here have not only been polite and helpful, they have exceeded my every expectation of helpfulness.

I'm very grateful for this locally owned, friendly hardware store that has a good variety of basic hardware store items including plumbing, electrical, a great paint department, gift items, and even woodburning stoves. I always try there first before driving all the way to one of the big stores.

We bought a Lakehouse in Burnet a couple of years ago. I just discovered Hoover, even though it’s been right in front of me. It is actually right in front of HEB. Love it, because it has everything that I would need, but isn’t as huge like Lowes or Home Depot.
I was greeted immediately by three different people. I got help right away and he was so sweet and explain things well. They all told me to come back soon.

I've shopped Hoover for 27 years and it a wonderful place to get home and garden maintenance and repair items. It's a great place to ask questions and get good help every time.

Good selection of used goods of all kinds. If you are looking for Christmas decorations for the home this is a great place also.

Folks were friendly and helpful. Got what I needed quickly and was able to get back home and finish the job. Will be back. Go see them.
