Minney’s Family Restaurant

On our way up to Pennsylvania on I-79 and decided to look for a local place to eat. Minney's was not far off the interstate. Glad we stopped. Waitress was great and enjoyed our sandwiches. I had the turkey bacon club with fries and my husband had the Nightmare sandwich ( shaved steak, ham, lettuce, tomato, onions, banana peppers) with onion rings. I also tried the soft serve ice cream. If you are in the area check them out. Just check their website for days open and times.

Fantastic! Seriously good food but the best part was the service and atmosphere. Very friendly staff and the food was out very quickly. I'm definitely going to be going back if I'm in the area.

A quick stop off of 79. Small place with hometown people, food and atmosphere. Daily/weekly specials posted on the boards, don't miss them. We ordered broccoli cheese bites appetizer, they were still hot in the basket by the time our meal arrived. Service was quick.

They have breakfast as well.

We didn't save room for dessert but they had a few choices that sounded yummy.

We are on a road trip from KY to DC and needed a breakfast stop on our way. The great reviews led us here and it did not disappoint. Great people, great service, and literally some of the best pancakes I've ever had at a restaurant! We have 4 kids and everyone left full and happy.

This small, unassuming but busy diner tucked in beside a stream in the heart of West Virginia mountain country, serves up satisfying home cooked meals and made from scratch desserts. Stop in if you're passing by and you might learn how to raise honey from the friendly locals.

I had a Reuben sandwich and my husband and sister had food from the breakfast menu. Everything was delicious, waitress made sure our order was right. We have eaten there a few times and will eat there again.

Close off Interstate 79 this is a great stop. On our way to DC area needed a stop with breakfast or lunch. This place was terrific. Worth dropping in. Only a mile off Interstate on Hwy 4.

Quaint mom and pop style restaurant. Off the beaten path, as they say,but well worth a stop. Biscuits and gravy with home fries. Excellent! Great service and prices. Can't wait to try the peanut butter pie next visit.

We just happened upon this wonderful family restaurant and stopped for lunch. Super people and great food at a great price.

This local hideaway is a hidden gem. Authentic West Virginia style food. Great staff. Usually busy, but always available. Prices are very reasonable and the food is good. It's where the locals go.
Pay attention because you can miss it even though it's right beside the road.

If you want to experience West Virginia hospitality with one of the last true diners left in America, here is your spot. We had the sweetest waitress who was patient with our kids after a long car ride. The food was delicious with a beautiful view. Thank you, Minnie's! From New Yorkers.

We stopped in during a family road trip with our 18 month old expecting a big chain type restaurant and we are so happy it wasn’t what we expected! The food was delicious, and service was fantastic. Definitely smaller than we expected but great place to get some home cooked food, will definitely stop back again when we are in the area! Worth a special stop!

Small diner with a basic menu of burgers/sandwiches/breakfast and about 8 or 10 different dinner plates/ selection of appetizers. The restroom and dining area is very clean. Probably can seat about 25 -30 patrons. My guess is none of the wait staff have ankle monitors or working to satisfy a court order unlike many of the franchise restaurants. Food was good and Staff was pleasant

This place has incredible food! I've been here a few times and the cook does an amazing job. Their food is very tasty and they have the best waffles I've ever tasted. Great service as well. It's small, but I like how intimate it feels. The bathrooms are also clean and well kept. It's worth going a little ways away from Flatwoods.

Amazing little family restaurant and they have AMAZING pancakes!!!!!!! Very good food! Will definitely eat here when visiting!
