My husband and I come to Davis fairly regularly (at least once a year) to ski in Canaan Valley. I have been trying to find a Sunday Mass every ski weekend for this season, so I was searching for a Catholic church in the area and saw this when I found St. Thomas Aquinas. I was curious, so I resolved to stop by on my way to Mass.

I arrived just before 9 a.m. The fence to the property was open but the door was locked. The "church" is small building in a lot. I peeked through the window and saw (1) a plastic table with an empty slow cooker surrounded by folding chairs, (2) an Israeli flag, (3) a ladder, and (4) a small table with some devotional figures in front of (5) a TV. The wall by the TV was painted with an angel. I left to go to Mass and came back again at 10 a.m. Still locked, no change.

This space might be used by a local group for worship, but it does not appear to be an actual church and is not open to the public.
