Fox & Rose Fine Provisions

After a long day of biking fox and rose was just what we needed. Great cocktails and a good beer selection. The bar tender was also knowledgeable of fun things to do in the area. Loved the mushroom soup and the shrimp tacos. Will be back!

First time to Petoskey to see the fall colors and we happen to stumble upon the restaurant in Bay Harbor. We both loved the beer selection and the bar tender was knowledgeable of good food pairings too. The restaurant was homey and modern with great finishings. We both raved about the mushroom soup. As a first timer to bay harbor, I would recommended it to anyone in the area.

Aged Beef Burgers and Pork Belly Bao are AMAZING! Great addition to our area here in Northern Michigan. Make sure to relax and enjoy the view. If you are looking to get in and out quickly then don't go here. If you are looking for wonderful food then enjoy! Cheers!

Had a great experience and dinner at Fox and Rose in Bay Harbor. Attentive staff, great drinks and good menu. We will be back! Highly recommend it. We love the atmosphere.

Stopped in with my gf just to grab a quick drink and check out the place. Stayed for over 3 hours thanks to our great bartender Matt! Drink and apps were great and not to expensive. We will def be back to visit.

Food, delicious. Service, attentive. View, amazing. If we didn't live 4 hours away this would be our date night or brunch go to. If you are in the area make sure you eat at Fox and Rose, you won't regret it!

Previously dined here in July with my out of town family that has never seen the area. I'm not sure what has recently happened but there is a clear shift is quality. The staff as always is super friendly and entertaining, but the overall dinner last night was not good. We had a party of six for my sister birthday. We waited an hour for a table and in the process of ordering food found out that the kitchen was out of 4 proteins. Anything with chicken, shrimp, steak and tuna was out of stock. So we waited an hour to eat just to find out there were about 3 choices for entries or we could get a soup or salad. So 3 of us chose salmon, 2 clubs and 1 fish/chips. Well when we got the food the salmon was cold and burnt, which is weird to say. Like the outside was burned, but the inside was cold. The veggies weren't cooked and we did not have the sauce for the fish. The fish and chips is not a kettle type of chip, but instead like ruffles chips out of the bag. My sisters sprite I'm pretty sure was seltzer water. So after waiting an hour to be seated and another hour for food we decided at 930 enough was enough. I asked my very polite server for the manager and when speaking to said manager informed him of the issue and insisted that I was absolutely not paying for dinner. We did make sure to hand our tip directly to the server prior to leaving. It was not her fault at all and her service under the circumstances was amazing. I don't think restaurants understand that long wait periods and product shortage leaves clients extremely upset and sometimes clients will take that out on their waitstaff. This was not the case, we made sure to compensate our great server! But I will say I'm surprised that no one other than our server came to address the table or apologize for literally anything. That poor server had to be the bad news messenger the entire time. I literally wanted to cry from frustration for her. I love the food here and will be back to dine and the service is always great, but I honestly would like to know what happened yesterday. Because running out of 4 proteins when there are 2 hours left of the kitchen being opened and the terrible quality of cooking is very unusual for this spot. My expectations for this location are so high, because I have had amazing meals here. Hopefully next visit is better, sorry to the staff yesterday, we could see how hard you all were working! Based off my previous dining here and the staff I rated it 3 stars, but based off of yesterday alone it would have been 1, but I know the quality and its amazing, yesterday was just a fluke.

Went there for a drink. The place was dead. Average wine selection. Maybe next time will try the food but the atmosphere was lacking.
