The store was clean well lit and stocked. Great product selection. Great location. The only real negative as it were was the apparently young lady working. She seemed a sort of shy and although she did greet nicely upon arrival she was no real help and almost made us feel like WE should help HER. She was either very new at her job or not trained well.

Staff is very helpful. I go here for all my hair products.

Went to go buy color remover and but grabbed one for professionals so the lady who was working there grabbed me another option but she didn't ask me what hair dye I was removing, didn't give me time to look at the product, and proceeds just to scan it and go.

I asked for help for bleaching my friends hair. The staff showed me a few products. I don’t know much about bleaching but i do know for the scalp you do NOT use a developer that’s over 20 and they gave us a 30... so my friends hair turned out TERRIBLE

the lady working was literally eating and talking on the phone while cashing us out. talking on the phone about her friend starting their period and having diarrhea. so unprofessional ew. this was the lady with grown out black roots and silver hair.

I don't go in very often, but this last time I went in the lady walks out on her cell phone and rudely goes can I help you? So I said no just looking she goes, go ahead. Like I'm asking for permission? She's on her cell the entire time so my friend comes in to meet me doesn't acknowledge her. But to correct her on something she wasn't finished talking about. Usually the people are decent but the blond haired lady with short hair was rude as hell.

Manager refused to give me instore credit for items I purchased past the 60 days. I am an ex manager who knows the policy very well. She flat out told me she would not do the return. Called customer service and was told to go back to store and have them personally call customer service so that I could get my credit as I was well within my right to do so. Very upset with the level of customer service I have received since leaving the company. Do not shop here unless you absolutely need to, and please...KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS!

Beware of incorrect prices advertised and new manager Terry. Went here last week to pick up some curl cream, price rang up more than what was priced on the shelf, associate could not change price in computer to reflect the advertised price and advises to come back the following day to have manager sell for advertised price. I go back the next day and new manager Terry is very abrasive about how she will not sell me the product for the advertised price and how it’s her fault for not putting new prices out but still would not sell to me for prices advertised even though it was her fault. Definitely not worth the hassle or drama.

Terrible. I realize that this is not a professional supplier, the closest one to me is traverse city, so when my Wahl trimmers died I knew I'd have to go on my lunch break as they don't open early. I had trimmers in hand waiting to pay, a customer was unsure of what color polish to buy. It took forever and I had a client due so I left without them. I had to go back the next day on my one and only break of the day only to have the store locked and a sign that said be back in 30 minutes but not time stamped. I still don't have trimmers. Oh, and a few months ago I was in just for barbicide, a worker complimented my hair color, I do it myself as I'm a colorist, she informed me that she will be going to my salon to shadow me. Learn for free. Really? I spent a lot of time and money knowing what I know, she wasn't even in the hair industry.

Online checkout offers deals like 30% off... when the site is not working properly, you cannot get a percentage off in store. I called before arriving to the store and was told I could tell them the code for the same checkout cost... the only reasons I still bought the items were because I wouldve wasted gas to get there and the new gal they have working there was nice. It was refreshing, to feel comfortable shopping there.

I went in looking for help to find a permanent bright color for my hair and the girl working there clearly had no idea what she was talking about she referred me to ion permanent brights and said that was all I needed to achieve the color I wanted She didnt tell me it was going to need a developer with it. So i got home after I lightened my hair waited a few days to add the permanent brights and once I opened the bottle i noticed it was just a white cream which seemed odd since I was going for purple I applied the cream as she suggested waited 45 mins well not an ounce of color turned in my hair it didnt change my lightened hair one bit ! Seeings when I purchased it I asked her so everything I need is right in this box and I just apply making sure I understood her she said yes and it will turn out great after your hair is lightened. I understand not all employees are familiar with dying hair but this lady had purple In her hair so she clearly knew how to get color in her hair but apparently not the products in their store and which ones would work to achieve a deep purple color on lightened hair. I'm guessing she bought her product else where prior to being employed there . I will be returning for a refund because I bought 2 bottles one pink one purple and if the purple didnt work the pink sure isnt going to and I'm not about damaging my hair for no results ! You need to train your employees on the products and their effectiveness!
